Brady beating my panthers in ‘03 was the first time I cried over sports. That run we went on was nothing short of incredible and that team coming up that short was so heartbreaking. It was hard to explain the feeling when we found out Tom Brady was moving to tampa. He was so hated and immediately loved and then he won a superbowl he was instant tampa legend status no matter what he does after.
My favorite memory was watching Brady crush my heart by beating the Chiefs in the 2018 AFC Championship game sure superbowl 55 hurt too but in that game it never really felt like we had a chance. The Championship game gave me hope we could beat him. The only thing that makes this loss hurt a little less is knowing the Chiefs won the superbowl the very next year.
I remember Super Bowl 49, it was the biggest mistake of the SeaHawks to go with a pass instead of running Marshawn Lynch up the gut. He was basically unstoppable.
I will forever contend that the issue was not the pass, but ball placement by Russell Wilson. They were expecting a run, throwing (a well placed ball) would have thrown them off balance and could have also resulted in a touchdown. I contend that the fact that it didn't falls squarely on Wilson's shoulders (again due to ball placement).
