I own a F2.2 Pro, I love that bike, but now I think is time to Ghostcat to improve to a 60V system for the F4, add some turn signals and bring back the horn (They remove it in the F3X).
@@erides sure, I watch happy tail review and you cannot see the horn bottom in the handlebar, I think that Ghostcat remove it to reduce cost. The thing is that the Billy GOAT 3 has kinda the same price that the F3X but has 44 mph, turn signals, lock, mirrors, almost at the same price. I love Ghostcat, but they got to improve their battery system and keep equipment that can make this bike safer in the street. I use mine as a commuter and it is fantastic, but not having stock turn signals is killing me when I'm going fast.
@@xanderxander08 they are in different category and have different purpose. I think it would be not safe to ride over 35 mph on Ghostcat . I did easy on motor goat and it feels about as on ghostcat 35mph. Goat bikes are not as bouncy as they are more for the city rides and F3X is for off road and they are more heavy but you can not beach the price for Goat bikes for sure
Removing horn is not due to savings but upgraded headlight. That headlight doesn't come with horn. No horn needed to ride off road. Simple bell is fine 🙂
@@erides I appreciate that you are sharing your experience with these bikes, I usually do not compare them, but now the F3X have street tires, those tires are for the road, and for me, at that prize point and with those road tires, it should come with a horn and now it can be compare with the billy goat, even though I know that the value of the Ghostcat is in the suspension compare to the billy Goat.
This is the link to video with owner showing f3x model however it had some differences as im assuming its not the advertised model that will actually be sold. Had the upgraded seat. No fender. But pros were that it showed the brightness of the new light working extremely well and then the brakes worked decent. That and the lcd screen on the f3x is colored. But there was no fender on the front to show what it would look like. Ghostcat is getting there while power goat is basically there. Only thing theyre missing is more get up torque in comparison to ghostcat but they may not even want that bc that drains battery much faster. Plus the goat bikes already go up to 40-50 which uses power too . Youd only be able to get like 20 miles average im sure throttle only if power goat bikes could get up to 140 nm torque. Im sure they get up close around 125nm versus the advertised 110nm.
Display , motor, battery and brakes all the same. the only difference is the front fork shock, light , tires , plate and fender. the headlight should be as bright but different design and a lot of people loves that light that's why they made it changed more as off road / dirt bike light. the fenders still in production or no pictures yet.. I think it will be little better and longer. Everything else will be the same . you can see display and light in this video at night ua-cam.com/video/zEIwf36swdk/v-deo.html the original headlight very bright ,too I would only make decision based on fork and tires the light on F3X better for off road since lighter weight .
@@erides ty for confirming the display is the same. when the owner was showing the f3x model in the recent video today he said this model will have the color display as if the f3 pro model didnt. i know the f3 base model didnt but i know i could have sworn i had seen color in your review or someone else's review of the f3 pro model. i just wish they had an actual sell ready of f3x pro model to advertise versus preordering a gamble bike of what fender might be on the bike and if decals can be sent to put over the orange volcano front fork on the f3x model. I wonder if they intentionally put the volcano front fork decal on to show that they DID upgrade the front fork even though you could just look at the fork system for details. I just think the orange decals look terrible for a bike thats supposed to be a "black out" theme color. hopefully theyd be willing to send decals that the f3 pro model has on the front for $2500 lol.

But goat bikes have top speed, similar to close acceleration, turn signals both front and back, better lighting, and better colorways imo. bike just seems more premium overall but something about the ghostcat still has me hooked and preventing me from getting the motor/billy goat lol.
there are not many competition at this torque level, price and speed out of the box even with the size of the battery 1042wh that's great deal! Revv1 , Raev are not as powerful
Erides it almost like you made this video for me.. you responded to me on Facebook when I said I’m torn between the 2 different versions… thank you for the video.
honestly biggest differences are upgraded front suspension and front fender is supposed to be medium sized. then the front head light is different (not the halo style but smaller). supposedly "lighter" and more popular for what people have been asking for. idk if the light will be better or worse. not able to see what light it is exactly. its also funny to me that they are selling a bike that they dont even have pictures for or to show what they are selling. In my opinion the better choice or safer choice is to go F3 pro over the F3x Pro. one is more established and the newer model hasnt even been finished lol. That said its a gamble, youd be rolling the dice on getting a potentially better bike. technically better because the front suspension and fender are upgraded. but the light might not be as good. which isnt a deal breaker bc it can be replaced with a halo style light if you know how or just take it to the local bike shop.
@@GraceDou after seeing a test ride at night of the f3x pro model, the new headlight on f3x pro model seems to be much brighter and has better range. Video of the f3x and owner went up 4-5 hours ago. It also doesnt have ANY front fender when site and cx service say its supposrd to have a larger medium sized front fender compared to the f3 pro model.
