You inspired me so much to play DW in HOLDOUT mode that I finally learned how to arm myself properly, give the scapper unnecessary items, hire the most necessary agents at the beginning, etc; that I was able to defeat two bosses! (One on wave 10 and the second on wave 20). I am very grateful to you, because before I could not aim from any firearm for 3 seconds because of bosses, tough enemies and other reasons. Last Strandeds/Holdout is honestly better than Normal Mode, from personal experience. a lot less bullshit (no getting ambushed by sledgehammer and double barrel scavs), guns are actually usable for more than 2 waves since you actually find them + loads of ammo, and you still have a little extra risk to take by raiding the base for even more guns, stims and weapons of course, i still play normal mode to not completely forget how the OG game works, but i prefer having fun over endless suffering.

The way I see it, the scavs were able to take over the former “safe zone” because as you can see, the turrets were completely down and broken. The only possible way they could do this is if they sacrificed enough people to drain their energy then take em out. Since last stranded/holdout is what seems like a failed evacuation, they must have done this during the evacuation attempt or some time when the agent(s) were absent.
I think that the agents escape Eden 227 via evac then got sent back again only to see the former base got taken by scabs plus if you look at queen's you know message before efight it says she is trying to take back her throne because if you want the tue ending in the game you would have to kill queen to get keycard then do the rest and escape eden227

@@stupideral in last stranded you're not an agent, the agent watch you wear is stolen from the other agents who've died by the scavengers, which explains why it's visibly damaged
2024. I tried Holdout as Drifter. One time, the Wave 10 turned into a Raider Wave. Another was the Medieval, but I did not press Q to shove. I am yet to get past Wave 10 since the lag.

Been playing holdout for a while since wave 40 as far as I know is the main record for holdout solo which i am trying to get to wave 50 been making some good progress after a month
Oddly enough, for me, arbiters shell shot punch only works in LS, I physically cannot do it in the base game. I'm stuck with the low range shell shot, and I used to be able to do it before roblos forgot they had bigger priorities than removing a little blood and shit.
