A warm week when it was worth getting a 7 day ticket, but unfortunately for me no lovely views of the mountains that week. That must have been the day I went to the cenima in Cleveleys. It must have been around 3.30pm when I got the tram on the Promenade, no sign of fog until I got to Bispham and it was well foggy all the way to and including Cleveleys, that afternoon. Had an experience like this on the pier in Brighton once. Being on the pier and not being able to see much in the fog. Was lucky enough to see the Tower hidden in fog a few times in winter. One day that week at Bispham, the sea was blue close to shore but at the horizon it was grey, almost the same colour of the sky. A boat sailing from the Isle of Man to Heysham appered to be floating in mid air. If only I had a decent camera and the skills to use it. It was like that yesterday but just the top of the tower missing. Went to the Golden Mile for a wee as the wife is disabled and can't get upstairs to the toilet at our granddaughter's house. Plus it's free there. Had a £1 burger too.
No tower 😮.... Blackpool wouldn't be Blackpool without the tower. Weathers been cracking in my area for the last 8 days, 21c/22c most days and complete sunshine and blue skies, seems like its going to stay that way for another couple of days too, the rain is set to return on Tuesday. Sea mist. We get it in my area too. Wish we had trams. I like those trams. There's another channel I came across yesterday based in Blackpool. A couple who own an amusement arcade. I think it's just off the promenade. "James and Toni review Blackpool bingo and more".

I believe it is happening because the water (sea) is colder than the atmospheric temperature. Looks like fog 🌫️. Great video as always Stephen! It's weird but I see this phenomenon every time I visit Blackpool and it is always preceded by an eerie bell like noise and a strange voice shouting " Last Orders" and it's always at nighttime.
Blackpool should have open top buses along the front and a Hovercraft service to the Isle of Man, and flights into Blackpool from Scotland the Council are missing a Trick here, ATB Steven, Jack + Family.

Yeh, was weird, seeing the blue sunny skies at home, I exercised my old folks bus pass and rattled from Lytham to Fleetwood. Knott End was slightly murky, no chance across Morecambe Bay to Heysham Nuclear or the Lake District.. 😮👍🇬🇧
Yes, I have photographed Blackpool Tower from the IOM. I got it from the Mountain Road, just under the summit of Snaefell, where there is a clear view across the Irish Sea.
You need to stop these about Blackpool the place is gone you're giving people hope that it's a nice place, we all know it's not, it's a crap Council Dump of a place

It was hot and sunny this morning, then that sea fog came in and temperature dropped by almost 10c. I drove up the road to Preston and it was 23c.
