Just because your kids are different genders, it doesn't mean that they won't love each other.
The reason why some siblings want a brother or sister the same gender as them is because they want to bond with that sibling and share common interests, that can be shared with anyone.

I love gender reveals but I don't think kids should participate. If they don't like the result they spend the rest of their mom's pregnancy upset. If they see the baby before knowing the gender they won't be upset. I kept my 2nd babies gender quiet till the birth cause I didn't want my son upset about having a sister
