Kids wanted the same gender as they are but somtimes it’s the opposite of their gender like anytime when a gender reveal shows for a example a girl wanted a girl and it’s a boy she will cry and say “I WANTED A GIRL” but yes parents try to comfort them and sometimes siblings have what they wanted like the first twin wants a boy and the second twin wants a girl and it appears for a girl the first twin will begin crying so it’s the kids or adults who want the gender that they always wanted
