- Welcome to Episode 17 of our original series here where we will be turning $100 to $100,000 using ONLY sports cards! Our goal is to get there by the final Thursday of 2024, but hopefully we could do it sooner. This video was our shortest one yet - we were super busy with other stuff this week so we didn't have much time to record. I would love to see more card show vlogging with interaction, interviews, and opinions from other dealers and big players in the hobby. I remember how you guys asked different people what they would do if they only had $100 to spend, and it’s interesting seeing their views and strategies. Also, adding some more box breaks like the immaculate (not saying that high of price but low end fun rips for us to watch), and also information on how to grow a Facebook group and sell would be very helpful too! Going a little more through sports card grading and how to tell if a card is slightly off centered would help a lot as well. 100k!

I would like to see more of how you find your online deals and how you price out the cards and then give them an offer. I feel it would help the community understand what type of room is reasonable when buying a flipper. Love all the content and congrats on making it this far in the challenge I admire the hustle and hope to be as big as you in the card world one day.

I think a lot more explanation about comps and what you’re doing for the newer people to the hobby so they can understand what to do and what not to do even maybe a little more pack pulling and explain what’s packs are best for you’re money and such and maybe some garage sale steals or something would be kinda sick besides that it’s been an amazing series I alr think you’re teaching a lot but if you would explain more in depth

Definitely agreed with that. We won’t be traveling out-of-state to shows as much for this $100K challenge, but we’ll definitely be going to local shows like Hobby Slam!
I would love to see how you network with dealers and the really deep analysis on the thought process on how you make deal and how you make decsions to purchase 1 card over another or how you properly comp cards.

A cool video would be, a tips and tricks for searching out good deals, all the research and numbers behind some of the cards that you buy. How much you can get a card for vs. How much you believe you can get for the card. Including all the overhead for shipping, fees etc. Maybe do a few cards that you are buying and do a step by step process on that. 👍
I had a couple ideas. Create tutorials on various aspects of sports card collecting, such as how to organize and store your collection, how to determine a card's condition, or how to sell cards online. Interview other sports card collectors, discussing their collections, favorite cards, and experiences within the hobby. This can provide a variety of perspectives and insights for your audience.Collaborate with other UA-camrs, collectors, or experts in the sports card community to create engaging content together, such as joint unboxings, discussions, or challenges.

Latore, Ive been here evry step of the way and what I and i think all the other viewers would like to see is the behind the scenes in these vlogs the gas money the travelling money the food and the deals that u dont record. I also think u teaching the viewers and me on how to make 100 to 100k after u reach there. The viewers would love that and not think ur the youtuber who does it fake. It would help including me a lot of young collectors in the hobby on how to make there first 100k or maybe even 1k. Also every month at the start u should give ur top 10 football players to buy for that month. LAtore, I really think these ideas and plans would help grow ur channel from 100 to 100k subscribers. Maybe put this into consideration. Thank you

I need to see a card counter showing how many cards it took to get the 100k mark and a running total permanently in the corner. Some content creators want people to belive it takes only a few flips and 100k is in reach. I'm guessing it will be in the thousands to gain 100k profit.
So we actually tried a profit-counter in the corner at one point, but we had to remove it because it’s hard to have it updated without recording every single deal.
If you go to the spreadsheet at the very end of the video, the numbers on the far right will show how many cards we’ve been through! We just hit $17K in profits, and that took over 500 cards so far 😬💥
I feel like you guys should go to more trade nights
It’s hard because there’s not too many local trade nights, and it costs a lot to travel while bringing the whole team
Definitely going to see if I can start flipping I usually hold my cards. And I’d definitely like to see more of where you guys check for pricing or determine what you want to pick up

We had a ton of fun at the card shows, unfortunately it cost a lot to travel out of state with our team so we had to cut back on it a bit. We’ll be hitting some Florida shows this summer though! 👀

I’d like to see how you guys choose the players you guys decide to buy. Do you have a game plan on who to look for, do player stats matter, or the hype around a player. which app do you use for comps, I know you edit your shows, but how long does it actually take to make deal. I just got back into collecting cards again, what’s up with jersey matched numbered cards, i went to a local card shop and they had a TJ Watt 90/99 worth more than the 25/50, doesn’t make sense.
Thanks for the suggestions! We’ve talked about it a few times in the series, but we always use CardLadder for pricing. As far as jersey #’d cards, they can bring the value up slightly, but not that much. Appreciate the support!
