I think this is really good. The official CFC website has stopped doing the weekly "Chelsea here Chelsea there" feature. I miss it.
I was saying Maatsen should have been starting at LB after about 3 colwill starts at LB. I think we saw plenty by that time. Defense was worse, offense was disconnected.

Charlie Webster was injured for quite a long time but he did just get the winner for an England development team away in Germany. Scoring the winner against any German team is never a bad thing.
Bristol Rovers are my local team and I watch them most weeks, Vale has consistently shown top quality and has been a vital part of the Rovers side this season. Due to injuries he's had to play left back a lot which explains the poor numbers. He works really hard and has the makings of a versatile squad player in the future

Harvey vale is a baller, he plays as a wing back with 6 goals and assists in 18 starts and he’s only 20!
Time is nearly up on this window and we brought in no one. Looks like another season of discontent
I do watch Angelo Gabriel and the stats here are wrong because he does have two assists for Strasbourg and has 18 appearances.
Both assists that he provided were decisive and they won as a result.
Up until January he was mainly coming off the bench but recently Vieira is trusting him as a starter and he does get high ratings every time he plays.
He might up his G/A production until the end of the season but truly he is only 19yo so he probably won't be ready for Chelsea until another season.

This is a nice discussion George---think you could/ should spend more time on this and some of the academy prospects rather than same old same old. And you never mention the women. They are Chelsea too!

I doubt it. The guy is no good defensively for the Premier League and since we need more headers, which he is not good at, he’d be a liability at LB.

@@TheMrGiannisgr colwill at LB is a defensive liability. I can list all the goals he was directly involved in and it’s a lot. A balanced offense is a form of defense in itself. There was no benefit to this move.

Instead of lukaku to come back I do prefer DD Fofana. He wasn't given a good playing time but I think he won't miss those chances Jackson used to waste..

Buying or grooming young players from the academy and loaning them is a business of uncertainty. You don't know which players will be a hit or a miss.
Ake ,Guehi , Solanke, Leviramento, Olise , Mbape, Tomori were all in CFC books. You just never know.
