Mine died this morning from a stroke. What's worse is I had no clue it was a stroke till the last few moments, when she fell over I readjusted her upwards and pet her before she finally left. I hope she was aware of how much I cared for her before she died
More like scared and upset this already startled rabbit. Speaking? Rabbits don't understand human language. They can't even understand simple commands like dogs do.
@@paulallen8109 Chill man, she didn't know what was happening. I'm reassuring her she did the best she could in that situation. She showed it love and affection, that's what mattered. And you don't know that. Many animals can sense love and sense the way someone talks to them. She was doing the best she could! This rabbit passed away loved! That's what matters!
At least he didn't suffer much. My bunny died from parasites. We gave her baths too often because there were always pieces of turd stuck in her fur. Eventually that turned out to have wounded her buttocks. One day, during the Spring we left her outside in our yard and late at night, when we decided to take her indoor we noticed she was lying on one side and shaking. We took her to the vet the next day and found out there were tiny white worms stuck on her buttchecks this hole time. The doctor said she had those parasites for a long time as the wound was very deep, and that there's a very small chance she will survive even after the treatment. We took her home , hoping she will survive. We put her in her cage , close to my bed(since was room was the warmest) and went to sleep. The next day we found her perfectly still , not budging at all. And that's when we realized she died. The poor thing went through that pain for a few months and it was all my and my sister's fault for not properly taking care of her.
You may never see this, but don't feel guilty. It's hard to care for animals that can't tell you how to care for them. You didn't know. Like who even thinks about something like that happening?
