Dear Andrew, I really appreciated the practice until the abdominal lock. It gave a strange sensation of a suction in the throat and it activated the mind 😏 Is this sensation is normal? Do you have a video presenting and talking about this technique? 🙏🏻
This strange sensation is definitely normal - and is part of the true power of this technique 😉 I do have a very complete introduction to this technique available on our website, which you can access for free through this link: refeelyoga.com/yt/619-uddiyana_bandha
This just happened to show up on my feed on a Saturday evening. I added it to a watch later playlist, then changed my mind and did it right then. My younger self would have scoffed at being at home doing yoga on a Saturday night but these days I love doing what feels good to my body and soul whenever. Thank you for sharing your gifts!
That's awesome Laurie! It's so beautiful to see how, as we grow and mature, our preferences can change towards things that are actually waaay more cool! 🤣 Have a beautiful weekend dear 🙏

Hey Andrew, these days I have been practicing meditation continuously for a few days and one evening I felt that my meditation was getting deeper and I was feeling blissful. At the same moment while meditating I felt that all of a sudden my mind was going numb. I felt a tiny sound echoing in my ears and suddenly the energy started concentrating in my mind due to which I got scared and broke my meditation. You are the person from whom I came to know about meditation, because I do not have any guru so I want to ask if meditation is safe for me or not ! Should i continue wid mh journey ? I am a student and do yoga and meditation for my mental peace and focused mind, should I go to any guru because I do not want to leave meditation, somewhere what I am looking for is in meditation only.
This is beautiful brother! Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I would like to start by assuring you that meditation is completely safe for everyone. I may get very uncomfortable, but it is always safe. This experience that you have had is a common one as you start to progress into deeper states of meditation. And while it is a bit scary at first, it will lead you to one of the greatest experiences of peace you can attain. In fact one of the names of Shiva, the Tantric deity who represents pure consciousness, is "Bhairava", which literally means 'the terrifying one'. This is because when we go to that state of no mind, where the fluctuations if the mind completely cease, it is akin to death. There is a loss of the senses, a loss of interpretation and a loss of the ego itself. This is terrifying! But is also leads to a deeply profound sense of peace, Oneness with the Universe and a great expansion of consciousness. Of course it is always easier to walk any path if you have a teacher to support you and guide you directly along the way. Though it is not truly a necessity. Many great awakened beings had their first experiences without any guidance, and then after started to seek out a teacher/guru to help to clarify and understand what they were experiencing. I believe the old saying, "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Keep doing what you're doing and be open to see what "teachers" come into your life.
@@RefeelYoga Ty brdr for ur guidance !! I just realised tht lil by lil I'm getting used to such sensations .. earlier when energy used to travel in mh head... I was scared fr nd sometimes i feel like it might create energy explosions ..bt ntg like tht happened... instead I'm able to meditate peacefully ..also these days my sexual drive has been reduced .. I'm more peaceful these days bt this silence nd peacefulness within me feels weird for some reasons !
giving thanks, wholeness & balanced vibrations to you & yours !! 🙌🏻🤍💐🌞 - i will be going on a walkabouts just me, myself & a backpack for a while, i don’t think i’ll have a yoga mat with me but i was wondering if you could recommend a solid full body kinda set that i could do anywhere 🙏🏼🌱🥷🏻✨
Hey Corey, maybe I'm too late to catch you before you venture off... but one of my favorite full body practices to do anywhere, without a mat is this one: ua-cam.com/video/TbOAGvRyMQw/v-deo.html Combine that with some Pranayama or Meditation and you have a wonderful daily sequence to keep everything flowing 💖
