Man, this song, and album got me through my year in Afghanistan. I rememeber listening to this song on my first day in Bagram, and then on my last day in Kandahar. Constellations, Messengers and Thrill Seeker were on constant rotation for me, thank you for a bright light in all that shit I went through
I listened to a lot of ABR when I was in Afghanistan as well. Kandahar was a rough place. My battalion was based out of FOB Ramrod in Maiwand; where were you at?
the 20 year anniversary tour was actually my first ABR concert! driving to Minneapolis and getting to meet the band made me a fan for life. all five members bring so much energy to the stage 🕺🏻
Damn, and this is only like the 2nd ABR tour I've ever missed since the first time I saw them in high school in like 2006 at a skate park in Wichita, KS.
@@spooble5030 I think the best part for me was before the encore, when the whole room was shouting "ONE MORE SONG (please) ONE MORE SONG (please)". ABR fans + Midwestern folk = ultimate politeness lol
Actually insane that the singer does ALL the vocals! I've been listening for over a decade and never noticed that before! Whole band is so talented yeesh ABR FOREVER
I love you guys! This is one of my favorite songs-especially when I’m running. My teens just got into metal and they are so excited to see you! I couldn’t think of anything more exciting to share with them and bond over ❤️
They sound great on these live recordings.... Haven't been to a show in ages, definitely would try to catch these guys if they happened to come through my city.
I love seeing ABR live. Every time they come to ATL I go see them. I got to meet Matt and Jake last time I saw them and I’m so grateful. They were really nice.
Been a fan since thrill seeker was released when I was in middle school. Countless shows, meeting these guys on several occasions and they’re all class. The nicest people and the music that defined my adolescence to this day. Cheers to another 20 boys 🤘🏻
I love these guys so much, not only are they crazy artists but they are some of the most positive guys in the mix. Jake said it best, this is your music, your family, your people! Much love to all
Did the whole VIp thing in Brisbane Australia. I can honestly say that along with the birth of my kids this was the best day of my fucking life. Absolutely amazing experience. I just loved this moment, the intro, the total shred afterwards and the feeling of absolute love in the room. Thank you legends
Wow, it's really been over 20 years...i remember hearing background music to her awakening in like 06 on a random limewire download lol. First time i saw you guys was with sky eats airplay an greenley estates. Time fucking flies.
I've seen you guys live twice, both times in Chiago. I brushed past Jake right as one of the shows finished and everyone was filing out. I hadn't realized I brushed arms with the goat until it was too late to say "Awesome show Jake!!" Well, it was an awesome show. Can't wait to see you guys a 3rd time!
I meet Trevor Strnad his band played 5 minutes from our house in a pinkish garage. He remembered me 20 years later at a concert!!! Talk about a man that loved his loyal followers ! 🎼🖤🎼 REST IN POWER TREVOR STRNAD 🕊🎼🖤🎼🕊
Me encanta esta canción, es hermosa y tan emocionante, sin duda mi favorita. Espero que sigan haciendo música por muchas décadas más. Saludos desde Chile. Viva el metal.
I remember seeing these guys 15 years ago when they were basically “unknown” .. They blew me away and I’ve been a fan ever since!! 👌 Also excellent mixing on this 👍
They had released 2 albums and singles from Constellations at this point 15 years ago. I also saw them in 08 with As I Lay Dying/Misery Signals and Evergreen Terrace. They've been quite known since Messengers came out lol.
@@KevinQ25 You’re not “known” after 2 albums.. It takes time to develop a strong reputation in the industry… Lots of people live are hearing them for the first time, that’s what I meant.
Cheers from Brazil, you guys need to do a tuor here in São Paulo, trivium did last year, you guys has fans here too. NOOOICE SHOW, im guitarrist but Matt makes me love drums.. stay on guys!!
One of my goals in life is to have a posture like Matt Greiner
I didn’t think I was the only one who thought this 😂
Its a flex.
Just give up, it's impossible. lool
We gotta find out who his chiropractor is because it pisses me off lol

I hope that Spirit Breaker hit home with you. Even though it can be related to to so many people in other circumstances, it was written from your POV.
Angry music for happy people indeed. \m/
❤
How about music that people enjoy, why label it angry? They're beautiful people ❤❤❤
@@AmberxLovelyy It's from one of their shirts.
JB and Matt. They are actually pretty famous in their instrument community (guitar / drums).
@@AmberxLovelyyits literally the band’s motto and slogan LOL

Jeeeeez. Man. The way the guitarist and drummer play so seamlessly. Absolute legends of their craft.

Every person in this band is beyond talented but Matt Greiner on the drums is on another level. The guy is just not human.
Most underrated band of my time. I hope these guys keep blasting out incredible music for another 20+.
