In 1977 my Dad built the very first house that my family lived in and the place where I grew up in the 80s --- we all moved out of it in 1989 and the house has been up for sale a few times since then but I never had an itch to buy it --- I have memories of all the good times and bad times in there and don't need to revisit the place
Yea, that's cool. My current house has 2 previous owners and we know both of them. It was the party house back in the 80s. I recognized a mural painted on the entryway before I bought the house. A while after I bought it, I was working on my car in the garage and the first owner stopped by to show his grandkid their old house. We talked for at least an hour. He thought it was funny that I was at their "infamous" party when a local band played and the cops showed up. The second owner was an older lady. She wanted to see her rose bushes before going into assisted living. She was very happy to know that we loved her rose bushes as much as she did. lol She gave us full instructions on how to care for them. She ended up living in a facility close by and we gave her a few prime roses from her bushes every year until she passed. Our house has no special history but it is kinda cool to know that history.

What a cool video! I've been a RATT fan since their club days. For me, those were the good old days. I was 18 and got to see RATT at Perkins Palace, the Troubadour, etc. I remember them selling out at the Troubadour and then selling out a 2nd show later the same night. I went to both and sat and talked with Warren in the balcony in-between sets. This was when Juan was off playing with Dokken and they had a fill-in bassist that looked similar to Juan, named Joey Cristofanilli. If I remember correctly, he helped write Wanted Man. Great memories!

What a cool video. The woman who owns the house is very nice. She knows nothing about RATT but that’s ok. She has an open mind and is willing to learn.
Omg/ My favorite band of all time!! Always thought he was gifted by God w/ a beautiful voice, and not bad on the eyes either!! Praying 🙏 for health. My brother has stage 4 Lung Cancer!! F… C.
Great little bio on the "voice of Ratt".Stephen seemed to project an aloof personality throughout his career, but on this he seemed grounded and more down to earth. Time has a way of doing that but Ratt was one of the premier bands throughout the 80's. Glad to see him doing well and not ending up another "rock casualty".🤟Ratt & Roll on dude.
Yeah I agree about Stephen's personality in the 80's --- always struck me as aloof or arrogant, esp. in that '85 "behind the scenes" video they released --- he didnt have the outgoing party personality of other rock gods like David Lee Roth and Vince Neil ---- but I guess he's always been the shy loner type but he does seem quite humble now
Very very cool video! It was very touching when he said a prayer in the room where his parents passed away. He seems very at peace with it knowing that they are at peace. Love seeing the house where it all started for him! You can tell he was absolutely thrilled by being there and seeing it all again. Take care of yourself Stephen! Hang in there!
Awesome video! I was in my early 20’s when Ratt came on the scene. I loved them! Lack of Communication, to this day, is still one of my favorite rock songs.
This is amazing and inspirational! Also, more than that I think God is really with Stephen on his journey through life. I hope to meet him one day or see him in Heaven. Ratt was one of my favorite bands growing up. I am gonna listen to their music more
Met Steve and the Guys in Albuquerque in the mid 80's. Great guy. I'm 57 now still Rocking Ratt N Roll to this day! Lay it Down, One of the all time great Rock Riffs! Love every tune, including the Arcade stuff! No way was Ratt a 1 hit wonder. God Bless You Steve! 🤘🏻
10:10 The name of Warren's band was Enforcer. Enforcer actually recorded a self-financed album. X-Caliber was Billy Lincoln on guitar, John Todd on drums and a female singer.
I was a big Ratt fan in the 80’s. I still have a lot of early Ratt songs in my playlist. So sorry to see that Stephen is now homeless and psycobabbling to complete strangers and referencing houses he’s never seen before. I really hope things get better. Love you Stephen!!!
Love Ratt!!!! Nothing but pure respect for Stephen Piercy (he's been through a lot... and keeps coming BACK FOR MORE.) This is such a great documentary for both Stephen and the fans! I'm glad he was able to go through his childhood home. You could see how much his momma meant to him.
I read his book a few years ago and he tells the story about his accident and how it lead to music. It's so cool to see these images of where it all happened. Great video!
Opened up for him in St. Louis around 2014 or so. He used my mic. After his performance, his guy told me to the back. He game me my mic back and was much appreciative. He was such a nice guy. Down to earth and funny. I miss this music!!!
I remember when I was a little kid coming home from school one day, my older sister was playing this song that just blew me away... I didn't know what the words were or what he was singing about but the whole thing was just amazing. Round and round. I'm still listening to it now.
I met him in a bar once. He was doing a show. There were only like 50 people in the whole place. He said he was gonna rock it just like he would if there were thousands. And he did! Awesome guy!
This is really cool. I got to San Diego by ‘83. Ratt was huge. What a time it was. Being 21. Wild and living on the edge. Never knew about his roots like this. The homeowner is ultra cool.

Watch the full ROCKumentary on ASY TV!
Perkins Palace......fuck yeah!
@@watchasytv can I watch asy TV on a roku TV. How do I get to ask tv?? App, website, streaming service??? Thank you. Love the video, huge ratt fan, best concert Ratt, Great White & Kix!
Just find the app on roku and follow the directions.
I've loved Ratt since day one! Long live Ratt n Roll!
Ratt and all the members will always be my favorite 80s band regardless of with who and where they are playing now. Stephens latest 2 releases are Killer!
One week after Out of the Cellar came out I knew every lyric in that whole album by heart.
What a cool video. The woman who owns the house is very nice. She knows nothing about RATT but that’s ok. She has an open mind and is willing to learn.
So cooooooool ! Great great Rockumentary ! ;)
Well said. I thought exactly the same. Sometimes it takes the passage of time to humble people.
@@peacefulbliss1 Polite and quiet or reserved...even insecure can seem like aloof and stuck up. People misread people all the time.
I always thought he was probably a bit misunderstood too
Yeah I agree about Stephen's personality in the 80's --- always struck me as aloof or arrogant, esp. in that '85 "behind the scenes" video they released --- he didnt have the outgoing party personality of other rock gods like David Lee Roth and Vince Neil ---- but I guess he's always been the shy loner type but he does seem quite humble now
Very very cool video! It was very touching when he said a prayer in the room where his parents passed away. He seems very at peace with it knowing that they are at peace. Love seeing the house where it all started for him! You can tell he was absolutely thrilled by being there and seeing it all again. Take care of yourself Stephen! Hang in there!
Never been a Ratt fan, but I like this guy. Read his book outta curiosity n it was pure rock n roll. I wanna watch this rockumentary!
I am gonna listen to their music more
What a cool dude and a Survivor to boot.
What a cool story would have loved to grow up in a neighborhood like that
Met Steve and the Guys in Albuquerque in the mid 80's.
Saw them in 1984 in Las Vegas at the Aladdin Casino they were awesome!!!
It was interesting to see a different side of Stephen Pearcy. He's a bit more down to Earth than I thought he was.
That Ratt sign and set list was FREAK'm awesome!! Thanks so much for decades of memories Stephen!!!
This is super cool Stephen!
Ratt was my favorite band in the 80’s, still listen to this day. 🤟🔥
This is really cool. I got to San Diego by ‘83. Ratt was huge. What a time it was. Being 21. Wild and living on the edge. Never knew about his roots like this. The homeowner is ultra cool.
Very, very cool! What a charming dude. One would never know until some video like this rolls around. Nice job people! Anyone who says a prayer and apologizes to excuse himself has my attention and respect! Period!
Her house isn’t haunted, she has a Ratt.
Huge Ratt fan here. This is awesome \m/
Wow. This is AWESOME! Thanks for putting this together Stephen. Ratt`N Roll forever 🤘
Fascinating Stuff! RATT is my favorite band of all time and RATT never would have happened without Stephen Pearcy being hit by a car in his youth. It was destiny. God Bless Stephen Pearcy!!!
Wow! Walking through that house was like was finding a Treasure Trove full of memories. That was super badass getting to experience it right alongside of of Stephen. How awesome.
hey Stephen cool video .. love it when people leave things untouched .. pretty amazing that it's all still there . have a good day
Love when Stephen says hello to his parents' spirits, and greets the doggie at 9:14.
You see what kind of good person he is.
The GOAT Stephen 🤟🏽
Many thanks to the gracious current homeowner for allowing Stephen to visit & film there. I remember listening to “out of the cellar” until the tape wore out.
Good times.
