Mexican cities are like European cities in the sense that their history goes so far back and there are so many interesting urban layers. Those city tunnels are truly fascinating!
My spouse and I have visited Puebla twice. It is close enough to Mexico City that one can easily do an overnight (or more). You guys did a great job highlighting what makes the place so enticing. We didn’t stop there in our recent two months slow travel through Mexico and your video made me sentimentally smile in appreciation of the good times we have had there.
The trying of the treats at breakfast with the small bottle: Carrie: "Do you want to try this?" Brian: Shrugs and looks at the camera with an "Of course" look. Then earlier on cookies Carrie: "It tastes like a Christmas sugar cookie". Brian with zero hesitation "I love sugar cookies!" Too funny. As always so very informative. You are so well connected and interact so well. We can all learn from you two being together. Thanks guys!
Really enjoying my “armchair travels“ with you guys - taking notes for future Mexico itineraries, and I love how colorful it is everywhere! Growing up in Europe, my parents taught me to enjoy the local “flair” instead of just rushing around to see everything on a tourist checklist. So although you said 3 days are sufficient in Puebla, spending a few extra days just to relax and wander around is a great idea (if you have the time). Thank you for yet another fun and helpful video.
I was planning to go to Oaxaca or Mexico in late March next year. Now you have my wheels spinning. I didn't realize from Oaxaca to Puebla to Mexico City was so close. I would have about a week and a half, so I might fly into Oaxaca and then fly out of Mexico City! Definitely something to think about!
I love Puebla! It's an underappreciated gem (and the home of Cinco de Mayo). Those rolled tacos are Tacos al Arabe, originally influenced by the Middle East. I was there earlier this year (got Camotes for my grandkids) and plan to go back next year for a few months to work on my Spanish (there are a couple of excellent Spanish schools there). The climate there is generally nice year round and it's only a 2 hour bus ride from the Mexico City airport. Glad you got to go and appreciated the video.
I have been traveling this area for many years now, there is so much to see and learn! Also other amazing areas are just minutes away, such a Cholula, Atlixco, and San Martin Texmelucan. Also the Volcano is visible from many of those areas. I love the Historical Center of Puebla as well as the Largest Malls in Mexico nearby... You have Costco, and many other well known stores.
Thank you for your videos. We look forward to following in your footsteps and hopefully meeting up with you sometime. I love that you answer everyone's questions. It is so helpful and encouraging. Happy Travels!!😊
I was just about to guess it was eggnog liqueur you both sampled! Or, at least tasted like it. Yum! The city of Puebla is absolutely beautiful! It reminds me of Europe! Thanks for a lovely tour of this historical place!
I was in Puebla for Cinco de Mayo, the only place in Mexico that Ci😢nco de Mayo is recognized. That park above the tunnels is incerdible. The oldest library is so fascinating, so old.
I am glad you're having a good time in Puebla, looking forward to seeing your upcoming video from Cholula(it's believed that only in Cholula, there are 365 churches which means, you can visit a different one every day for the whole year ,cheers!
Binge watching the two destination videos on this semi quiet Sunday. Love Puebla ❤️ The 14:46 Chile enogada... yummy. The museums and galleries hours of of entertainment. 😮 The architecture is just incredible. Plus all those restaurants, cafés, semi hidden inside those beautiful buildings down the side streets. 😊👍 Getting ready for the hurricane 🌀 🤪 as long as Waffle house doesn't close we should be ok.😅OK.
Ugh!! My daughter lives in St Pete!! They have a short-term rental in Tennessee, so they are heading north! We appreciate your continued support!! BE SAFE!!!
Great video. I've lived in Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia over past 7 years. Take a look into visiiting the Sumidero Canyon outside of Tuxla, Gutierrez. It's the most amazing spot in the country. You can get cheap flights from Mexico CIty or Guadalajara with Viva. Stay in San Cristobol then Comitan. Visit "El Chilflon" outside of Comitan (one of the most beatiful waterfalls in the Americas). Slow pace it to Merida. Have a great time.
Looks amazing! You’ve hit two of the cities that I’ll be staying in when I’m there. Now, if you could please just go to: San Luis Potosí, Xalapa, Guadalajara, Mazatlan and Mazunte I won’t have to do any research at all😂 Safe travels👏🏻👍🏻✌🏻🤙🏻🍻
Slightly...we have had some issues recently with month long rentals so decided to move about every two weeks. We will be doing a video later this year with an update on how its working for us. Thank you for watching!! 😊

We have very much enjoyed our time here in Mexico! The people have been very friendly and welcoming to us. We will be in Mexico for another 6 weeks, but we plan on coming back as early as 2025!! 😁 Thank you for watching our videos!!

Que chula es Puebla, que Linda es Puebla. I love to see my hometown city being appreciated for people around the world.
Your city is beautiful and incredibly welcoming!! Thank you so much!! ❤️

So happy you went to Puebla. One of my favorite cities that we really enjoy coming back to.
We really enjoyed Puebla. Plenty to do and see, the food and street markets kept us busy. Thank you for watching, Anthony! 😊

We agree with your parents. As a tourist, 3 days is enough time, but enjoying the moment takes a few extra. Thank you for watching and commenting!! 😊

We started in Oaxaca and took buses to Puebla and Mexico City. It was 5 hours to Puebla and only 2 to Mexico City. 😊
@@BrianandCarrie which bus company need y’all use?
It was Ado. We will have a video of our bus experience next month.
@@BrianandCarrie That isn't bad at all!
@BrianandCarrie Look forward to seeing your Ado adventure. I have used Ado from Cancun to Playa Del Carmen, and it was a great experience.

Thank you for mentioning the accessibility in places.
Of course!! Thank you for watching!! 😊
If/when you visit Cholula, there’s a nice jazz club called Jazzatlan. Great cocktails and entertainment, pretty good food too!
Thank you for the tip!! We did make our way to Cholula but missed the Jazzatlan. 😔

We are currently in Mexico City and enjoying Condese!! 😁
It would be unforgivable not to visit the forts of Loreto and Guadalupe where the battle of May 5, 1862 against the French army took place.
Thank you for the tip, Daniel!
If you had to only pick one to visit, which would it be, Oaxaca or Puebla? Thank you!
We would choose Oaxaca!!
@@BrianandCarrie thanks a ton!
Hi. Nice video. Did you move to Puebla? If you did, from where?
We slow travel the world staying in each place a couple of weeks at a time. We are from Bellingham WA. USA.

Thank you, Paul! We are learning that we will scratch the surface of places to visit in Mexico. We will have to do a return trip or two!
I ❤️ Mexico. So great that you’re showing different cities and cultures. Too many Yankees go only for the beaches (also beautiful, of course.)
We may be those Yankees next spring, Joyce! 🤣 We are very much enjoying Central Mexico and glad we decided to skip the beaches for now.
Fun following your itinerary! (even though our next year and probably 2026 too don't yet include Mexico)
We appreciate that you are watching!! 😁 Thank you!!

Well, at least we hit the two! 😁 We will be heading to Mexico City, San Migual and Merida over the next two months.
How did you get from Oaxaca to Pueblo?
We took a bus. We will be doing a video next month on how that works and how it went.
The “ll” in Spanish has y sound calle (kiyeah) Spanish dict app gives pronunciation and easy to use. If in doubt check it out.
Thank you!! 😊

Hi guys, you must visit MIB (International Museum of Barroco) in the modern Puebla City zone you will not repent
We missed it! 😔 Thank you for posting so others won't!!
I thought you were staying in Oaxaca (City?/State?) for 2.5 months? Did you change your plans?
We will be in Mexico for 2.5 months. We started in Oaxaca and finish in Merida. 😊

I like white people
And I want go to England
I'm so glad I don't have a sweet tooth! imagine two months in a place like that !
