@@trixiedelight9874 Madonna said she wanted to RULE the world, not 'change." it. I think she has done both. I am Madonna's age and I remember her rise to fame. She was so original. She's so gorgeous. She has the best cat eyes-the Leo she is.
I love this era of Madonna’s interviews because you can see she was a little enamoured with her success and a bit goofy. The smile at the end, very “love me”. She had a deep yearning to be loved by everyone.
A self-driven person, it's a real inspiration for those (including me) who might have or will have fallen outta faith somehow. Work on your dreams whoever you are, wish you luck! 🍀
She's so vivid and beautiful here. In the 80s, major pop stars were like cartoon characters, big and vivid and easily recognized in the highly visual MTV era. (Look how her eyebrow makeup was drawn dark on her actual eyebrows.Ultra-theatrical.) Madonna would have been a star in the silent film era- those enormous eyes, the perfect symmetry of her face. Here she's selling herself as a pop figure, the hair bow reminds me of Minnie Mouse. Or Dorothy in original illustrations of the Wizard of Oz when she gets to Emerald City. The day-glo green of Madonna's outfit reminds me of that, she's the girl from elsewhere making her way in Emerald City (LA, NYC) so she's very stylized. Not on the farm anymore.
I dont know if you will agree but I really think those were the years during when Madonna was really stunning...even before she became more masculine...she was so fresh and sexy in here and yes I know that aging makes you change but I really liked her in her 80s...what a period not only about her but about the music in general
@@cooluser5288 In Madonna's case the problem is not so called ageism, it's her own denial about her age and trying to appear young at all costs which has ruined her looks and turned her into a freak, and not in a positive way. Also, she no longer offers anything artistically or even pop culture wise, time passed her by... Now she is a cranky woman trying to make empty statements with yucky selfies on Instagram, such a shame.
This is such a historical moment in pop history. Just pause for a moment and think about what she has achieved since then. Her rise to fame and body of work is among one of the most incredible careers of the modern time.
Is she also congratulating herself when she congratulated "Veronica"? haha. Madonna Louise "Veronica" Ciccone. Or Veronica Electronica, her alter ego from Ray of Light era.
Shut Up. She's still gorgeous. And worth more than what you or your entire family could ever imagine to be even if given an unlimited number of lifetimes. Queen of Pop.
It should be a crime for such a beautiful face to be cut up, doesn't matter how much it ages, but that beauty will be there in some measure still. Not with plastic.
It was probably a long working day for her, she says that's why she's in LA- for business. Doing the million little things to build her stardom, like doing foreign press interviews and especially talking to Adam from all-important MTV. At that point in her life she was a workaholic, I don't think there was anything else she'd rather be doing than everything possible to enhance and advance her budding stardom. Where else would she want to be, lying on a beach? Nah, she wanted to be there, it was work, that's all. But she loved her job, which was to become a superstar.
Madonna was way to mature for European music business. She could literally learn nothing here and saw immediately our infantile nature and our carnavalesque way of doing business at backyard podiums with 12 year olds sitting sipping a bottle of fake coca cola. That reporters asks her a bunch of silly questions that are more intruding in her pravacy than to the point what she already was and what she was gonna be. Adam Curry would have had had a bitter feeling after interviewing Louise. She was totally underrated at the start. Long viva Madonna, an artist of all disciplines and with much to say.

Her level of confidence and knowing exactly who she is is simply stunning.
Shes literally a stunning human being..how could she NOT have been discovered...she was a walking lightning bolt
When she first emerged, she said she wants to change the world...well? I think we can attest to that💋
so beautifully said.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you people knew what ‘’she’’ had to do to get where she got…………… 😜

totally agree
Im a massive Madonna fan. I literally believe Madonna's need for that level of fame is a response to trauma - losing her mother at such a young age.
I’m am as obsessed with 80’s Madonna today in 2023 as I was back then. Thank God I was alive to witness her from the very beginning of her career. 💚
Oct.31st-2023 Obsessed with The Blueprint!
💌💌💌
Same although I wasn’t born until a decade after she debuted 😩
I miss those days with madonna back then it was all fun.

This was the madonna i was n stil am a huge fan of! 1985 to 1990 i love that era!
her eyes are mesmerizing
Its not her eyes .. It s easy to see these are false.. You're at the first, facinated, and realistic comes long time too late..
Real
😂😂😂 the way she randomly goes fuuuuuk made me laugh sooooo harrrd!! Absolutely love this woman
Beautiful Italian eyes! ❤
That’s the Madonna I fall in love with - now she’s the diva superstar all redone and I still like her and her music in 2021

Looking Gorgeous. Lovely Conversation. God bless.
These were the days!!! So 80's❤️❤️❤️
THAT SMILE AT THE VERY END she absolutely melted my heart
I totally agree. She's so cute.
She is beautiful here, so charming and sweet too.

Madonna was always a force …. Love these old clips shes exactly the same! ❤
Now THIS is the Madonna I fell in love with.
No wonder she became such a massive superstar.
Or as I once heard her say… A creamy smooth popstar.
Omg. That's the 80s Madonna I fell in love with. The New Madonna is trying to hard to keep up. Let's just focus on the 80s memories. 🙂
Everyone gets older. She still fighting for us. Ageism is real and her refusing to leave and his like all the others have is challenging norms

She is stunning
I miss this face 😢❤
Desperately seeking Susan, has a warm place, in my heart
She was VERY beautiful when she was young.
Shes beautiful in side and out
Those eyes! Stunning babydoll!💞
ICONIC❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥Her smiles and her eyes melt my heart
I’m sooo glad that La Isla made it onto True Blue. In addition to it being M’s favorite song from the album, it’s also mine.
Such a beautiful face, with gorgeous big eyes. This look suited her so much.
She look pissed 😂😂😂😂😂😂 i adore her. So fierce and sure of her future. And she was so natural and bautiful like a living doll with no excuses 😂
Her eyes 😍

Stunning ! Thanks for posting it ! 🙏
Holy f***, she looks amazing!
Personally, I can't understand people who don't like Madonna. She's so beautiful and talented ❤️❤️. That smile at the end, so cute.
Really beautiful❤
Gorgeous ❤
Incredibly beautiful ❤
Those eyes. Mesmerizing. Enchanting. They put you under a spell.
"Express Yourself".….Un inno
I loved the “fuck” comment 😂
Yes, it is so disturbing as funny 😻😻
Where ??
WOW!
Madonna worked hard and made her dreams come true. #1 selling female artist/ Icon/ Queen of Pop! 🖤👑❤️
So smart n confident
Never seen. Thanks for sharing
I love this green outfit. She should bring it back along with her classic 80s fashion trends.
"I don't want to answer to all those questions again"
Of course not, she wants to talk about the present to promote her stuff not about the past
This interview took place in Los Angles in February 1985.
Thanks
I remember seeing this when it first appeared 💋
When she cracks it about re-answering the questions, it’s such a chess move. Nobody wants to upset M so they just move it right along…😬 #thatsright 💅🏼
Wonderful Madonna 😍
Madonna rappresentava la vitalità di noi, adolescenti degli anni '80...... Espressività, teatralità.....Osare!!!!!!
She loves herself sooooo deeply much 🤷♂️ "Viva Madonna" 🎶💃🕺
We all should love ourselves.
pretty lady
Dopo ci chiedono perché noi del '68 siamo nostalgici...
Semplicemente fantastica. Era fantastica e ancora oggi lo è. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩👑👑👑👑👑👑🌍
2:00 a rare glimpse!
So so rare 😅

Hermosa Madonna!! Radiante siempre!!
My God the quality is bad but those eyes! wow!!! she was so beautiful !!!!! for real😍❤️
nessa entrevista Madonna estava muito bonita .
❤❤❤❤❤
I never liked when she changed this look for the Live Aid one. This one is so much better and really stands her out.
But she needs change form & found, she is M 😘
Is she also congratulating herself when she congratulated "Veronica"? haha. Madonna Louise "Veronica" Ciccone. Or Veronica Electronica, her alter ego from Ray of Light era.
Jesus, all the same comments. Can’t any of you think for yourselves?

How does she never get lipstick on her teeth?
A little vaseline or chapstick on the teeth
Before the fillers and plastic surgery. She was gorgeous and intelligent..;and creative

Madonna sem a menor paciência kkk
Hahahahaha yesss 💚🤍
She looks very moody here as if she doesn’t want to be there

I'd be annoyed too.
I thought it was a charming interview. I like the interviewer, he sounded like a guy chatting a girl up in a bar.
Madonna hahahahahahahah hahaha hahaha😂😂😂😂😂
She is self centered and rude
No i think she was like this to suceed. A woman in an océan of sharks
I think that's what it takes to reach the top. A mean streak.
