I agree..we’ve much less developed roads compare to other states especially your state Tamil Nadu. I think we don’t have much space plus every corner of Kerala are equally developed but quality of living is incredibly high.

you should not search for a typical gaon in Kerala. Actually there is no village in Kerala, but we can consider the entire state of Kerala as a big city. Whatever features and facilities, you expect from a city, you can see that every where in Kerala, such as specialty hospitals, schools and colleges, roads, telephone and internet, banks, etc,,, So do not search for a typical Indian village in Kerala.
I am also staying in villages wer bank is in a walkable distance as well as ATM n railway station n hospital even u can find big hyper market like spar near by in my place n people from town even use to come here n buy things:isnt that surprising???dats kerala

As a reply to some comments just to sum it up: I live in a panchayath in trivandrum,middle class family with 5 members including my grand mother and we have 5 toilets inside my home. My house in my hometown Pathanamthitta which is 48 years old also have 2 toilets inside and one bathroom outside.
Missing Kerala... living a hard life in North India (UP) as a teacher cos I wasn’t able to pay huge donation to aided school. Here salary is ok , but missing Kerala.

They can't even accept the fact that I can't converse well in Hindi.. most of em are like. "How can an Indian doesn't know Hindi ." .. and don't get me bad. My frnds out here are the best. They are just less exposed to culture outside the so called Hindi mainland .. for example they can't accept the fact that keralites eat with our hands moslty and never use a chamach for eating rice..... But me being patient tried my level best to explain as much as possible. Still .. I have to give them more exposure...
