She had a little bit of a hard edge (nerves, I bet, and who can blame her) but she has considerable charm and the whole theme/concept/pacing of the performance was absolutely wonderful. There's a sweetness to it that you don't see in most magic acts. Hell, in most media of any kind, now that I think of it. Very smart authorship. She reminds me a little of Jimmy Ichihana in her well-architected performance, or maybe Shawn Farquad (NOT his two spots on the show, I mean his Shape of My Heart performance that won the world championship).
I do wonder how it would work with a random audience member rather than someone like Teller who can keep up with her pantomime skills. OTOH she had Teller this time so she could have specially remixed the act to take advantage of the opportunity.

You know you have done well when the audience knows what you did and how you did it but like you and your performance so much they don't care. This was one of the most beautifully performed illusions I have ever witnessed. And bravo for coming up with something that takes advantage of Teller's particular talent that he would automatically enjoy participating in.

Possibly the simplest and most transparent magic trick ever on the show - but also one of the most beautiful.

This is the cutest and sweetest magic routine I think I've ever seen. I'm a magician too, so I'm normally watching for moves - can't help it. Not with this. I was so drawn in to the story being told, it was like watching magic when I was a kid. The choice to do this silently is brilliant, and this routine is just magical in its beauty. Major, major props. I'm rewinding to watch it again.
