Some ambiances have nice music but it is clear (rather than dreamy like yours) and the repetition is very obvious, and I can't listen to it then. And the rain you picked for this is perfect. If it's too hard or insistent-sounding, again, I find it too distracting and noisy. This rain has more nuance, more subtlety, even though it's steady. I like the drips you incorporated. I can't watch the video, but I'm comforted to know that Harry at least has Hedwig (I love the occasional hooting), if not an umbrella. The thunder is perfect, too. You've made a ton of videos that involve fantasy movies and rain and I love them (the hogwarts express one is my favorite OF COURSE, followed closely by the Kamino ambiance video) I've noticed in recent months that you've toned down on the fantasy movies/rain combo, and tried some other things. Understandable because you maybe got other things going on in life, and you maybe don't want the whole fantasy/rain combo to get stale. Still though, when I saw you'd posted this it was a welcome return to something that works very well. I'd be happy if you kept it up.
its the most powerful combo haha but i did want to reach other areas and try different things, still will continue to do so but everynow and then i cant resist a good rainy ambience

My thought with this being, for some reason you (as in we the listeners) were over at the Dursley’s, visiting with Harry but you decide to help Harry with the Dursley’s demands(?) of him that night even though the family urged you not to. Your anger boiled as you watched how the Dursley’s treated Harry with your own eyes. He had told you in your letters back and forth over the summer months but you never thought it was anything like this. You were about to say something but the lights started flickering and you realized that Harry was already doing something about it. You followed Harry up to his room, helped him pack and then walked with him to the Knight Bus stop where you waited with him. The air between the two of you was tense but only because you couldn’t stop thinking about what happened back at the house. What would happen to Harry? Would anything happen to you for not stepping in to stop it? You shivered thinking about it and Harry tried to comfort you before the Knight Bus came tearing around the corner. (I’m sorry. I’m a nerd.)
