  • I'm starting a new video series on bypassing Brinks locks. I have quite a few of them I have bypasses for and just want to show a sample of the locks that can be bypassed. (See more below)

I just found out about the bypass. I thought i had 3 defective brinks locks turns out they all have it.

You should tag this with the model numbers of all the locks in the description. It'll make it easier to find and people will think twice about buying these for anything but the most casual deterrence!

If you check the description I do have links to the locks as well as model numbers.

Very well done. I'm curious, on locks 4, 5 & 6... you inserted the tool and just twisted... what kind of tool is this and where can I find more on what is happening here. I assume it's a different way to accomplish the same thing as a quick stick? or no?

I’ve tried looking it up but I can’t find out how you bypassed the 40 mm. I was wondering if you could explain what you did?

@@RedMesaLabs I meant to ask - for the 2 large American Locks that you mentioned require an extra step prior to bypass - do you mean the breaking of the wafers, if they were installed?

    • @RedMesaLabs
      @RedMesaLabs  4 роки тому

@@samlott99 Yes, the step prior is using the Peterson Wafer Breaker Kit.

Brinks locks are so bad, you don't need the other half ;)

@@RedMesaLabs LOL!!! That's hilarious. You know you could turn this into a "comedy" video, showing us what weird every day household items could be used to bypass some of those locks. For example, a Master Lock 3 can be picked open with a zip tie, or chicken bone.

@@samlott99 Other channels cover items like that and it is very funny.
We are mostly interested in reliable methods of entry which can be used by those who need to get pass digital or physical security devices.
Not saying we would never make a video like that, but its not in the plans at this moment.

This cracks me up. it's OBVIOUS what you did was set all your locks up perfectly (you even admit part of that). then rush through them as fast as you can. then time it to see how long it took then overlaid a timer. Then you make another part of the video claiming you're going to see if you can do it in 70 seconds. Otherwise give a reasonable answer as to why you chose such a random time.
    ROFL

Hey there, thanks for checking out the video.
The locks were set up in a particular order and I did try to go through them as quickly as possible.
      So why 70 seconds?
The original intro was me saying 11 Brinks locks under 77 seconds (7 seconds per lock). After filming it a few times (times ranging from under 70 to 72 seconds) I made the call to redo the intro and say under 70 seconds, and this is why I say under 70 seconds.
      Now you know :)
