@@AAhmou Early Wodan and Axel fights are the most annoying part of the game. Nothing else can match that. Inspectors don’t have regen so you can take your time to worn them down while these? You have no other choice but to abuse valor and hope they go down in one turn. The worst thing is in hard mode they both have Afterimage so you also need to spend additional SP on Sure-Hit command just to hit them.
Again, I'm pretty sure that Sanger was dead or missing or something in that world. W15 only had his personality.That's why he tries to establish his own separate existance from Sanger.
@Socran I don´t think it coems from "Sänger" as in bard but from the name Eugen Sänger. He was an austrian aerospace engineer working for Germany during WWII. At least that´s what the super robot wiki says. That´s also the only logical explanation I could find for his name.
@SangerZonvolt It could be anything, really. There are American characters named Excellen and Brooklyn, so it's not out of the question for them to just grab words from the character's native language, or words that sound like they're from the same language. Besides, this Eugen Sanger person's last name probably still means bard, sort of like how Americans/British have names like "Smith" and "Carpenter".
You're not listening. I'm saying that there are multiple languages that use a similar word. There is a word in the German language, "Sanger" (with two dots over the A), which means "bard". The character Sanger Zonvolt (which is actually Sanger Somvold in Japan, but both are acceptable) is from Germany, and his name is pronounced using German phonetics (making it sound like "zenger"). Therefore, his name is German, despite being spelled roughly the same as yours.
As a starter of srw og that time I don't know how i can beat this wodan he even give me trauma specially that hp???????? Until Sanger show up it give me some hope
Technically we just need to survive few turns. The other winning condition is reducing his health to 64000. Which is pretty much impossible on the first play-through since most of our units don’t have valor+alert. Meaning Kyosuke and Sanger are the only damage dealer that can land big hits without getting killed instantly. Tasuku can also tank a hit if he isn’t getting critted but the rest just stand no chance.
When Sanger said "FOCUS!" I couldn't help but think "But you only have Strike and Alert!"
This.Goddamn.Stage...
Wodan Ymir infinite heal, huh...
There's much worse.

Wodan heals for 0.
Rio : His damaged parts are healing...!?
Lmao
@LanceVulcano the second one doesn't have sense

This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them.
@Socran

Sanger: I am Sanger Zonvolt the sword that RAPES evil.
@Socran
Actually, it comes from Mayan language and means whale.
"Magus?"
@Socran
I know what you mean. It´s difficult to judge without an offical statement from the creators.

*sigh, why can't they localize the ps2 version too?? That would be infinite awesome..
I know right, i mean their can't be copyright issues sense its all original.
+Argonisgema No profits haha. The gba games failed. Though it was their own fault, and most westerners have no connections to the og chars.
+mixa case Atleast the newest Super Robot Wars OG title "The Moon Dwellers" will receive a english translation.
wait you mean we are getting a super robot wars game into the states again? heck yeah
Argonisgema Well not in the states, but you can import the english asian version.
@TheChoujinVirus
You mean he doesn´t own a mirror?
@Ryuseikun

Nope. Wodan was a Model W with Sanger's personality installed.
You do know that more than one nationality can use similar names, right? Sanger is German, and his name is German for "bard".
Its called emulation, of course its going to sound low-quality on a PC.
