This is such a great show! It's like back issues, but every one gets a turn at being Sal (or tiffany). Just another reason why ComicPop is consistently my favorite UA-cam channel. Keep up the great work!!!
The guy that disliked this video within an hour of it being posted must get notifications for your uploads... They must be your biggest and most dedicated fan. That's so bizarre...
Can we get a good the Bad and ugly regarding Christmas comics? Like the Spawn Christmas special (issue 39), Lobo's paramilitary Christmas special, etc. That would be awesome! Also love your work Comic Pop!
Quick suggestion for a Good, Bad, Ugly theme: excessive outfits. For example: leg pouches, limp belts, multiple utility belts. I guess you could consider it an "overdone 90s costume" theme lol
Crossovers: Pick 3 random crossover comics from 3 different company-wide crossover events -- Secret Wars II, Civil War, Legends, etc. If the event has a mini-series, don't pick an issue of the mini-series, but pick an issue from an ongoing title that is a crossover. That is, don't pick an issue of the Secret Wars II mini-series, but pick a random Secret Wars II crossover from an issue of Thor, FF, Avengers, or whatever.
Eugenideddis, there was Image's Fire from Heaven. It wasn't company-wide, just among the Jim Lee-owned books -- Wildcats, Gen 13, etc. -- but close enough.
Good morning everyone at comic pop, hope you are well. Nice to see ethan appear on yhis show, and I hope you all stay safe and well, comic pop community included
Speaking of 'choose your own adventure" books, has there EVER been a "choose your own adventure" comic book story? Anyone know if that's something that existed, or have I imagined such a thing? It would seem to me that comics, especially from the big 2 companies, would be perfect for such an interactive way to get new readers on board. Also the digital comics format would be perfect for that right now, at least IMO.
There was an issue of The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (I think issue seven of the newest series) that was choose your own adventure and also an issue of Doctor Strange and the Sorcerer Supremes that was choose your own adventure. Both were pretty interesting and fun in their own ways
Yup it's the latest run. The Doctor Strange series is midway through, so its more tied into the overall story. Squirrel Girl one is just a fun one-shot
Anyone else find that comics from the 90's feel and look far more dated than comics from the 70s and 80s?! I'm just now figuring that out because I found comics as a kid in the 90s, so at the time bad mullets, generalized notions about computer technology on par with being 'magic', baggy cargo pants with pouches and lots and LOTS of being EXTREME!!!! Because the 90's were "TO THE EXTREME!!!" lol
40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s covers the golden, silver and bronze age if I am not mistaken. Golden and silver age feel timeless. Oldschool, but timeless. Bronze age started challenging conventions of the superheros genre and things got really interesting. But 90s I think people refer to as "chromium" age. Partly because those fancy but ultimately worthless shiny covers were introduced in hopes that it would drive collecting. But I think it is also an accurate label as the characters were left by the wayside in favour of gimmicks. ALWAYS exceptions. The Xmen for instance went through their golden age during the 90s!
Huh, Superman lets people die? Well, whoever wrote that clearly hates Superman, has no respect for the character, has no idea what he's doing and just wants to make us all depressed. That's what the Internet keeps telling me, anyway, so what do I know?
I have a confession to make: I had such a busy day today that I forgot to watch this episode until now. Apologies Sal but I’m hoping it chills me the flip out XD
People shit on the New 52 Superman for having bad stories but everyone forgets how much worse the Post-Crisis Superman comics usually were. I mean seriously, Bloodsport? Electric Superman? Come on.
There's a thing that occurs in history where the general population generalizes larger time periods of history whereas in reality, for the most part, there are noticeable differences for the people who lived at that time from decade to decade similar to how it is for us, same thing with comics generally the things that are remembered more so are the things that were either more heavily marketed or were resold more recently

Watch Sal's heart rip in half as Tiffany presses a crease into his 25 year old comic book
haha that ad feel at the center of the book, it naturally opened there!

Bloodsport: You know what's more fun than symmetry? Asymmetry.
When the whole B.E.S.T crew (ben, ethan, sal, tiff) are in a he vid those are my favorite.
No Bloodwynd? As if Martian Manhunter wasn't ignored enough already :-P
John Ts Dammit, you beat me to it lol
Dennis S Smith Lol sorry Dennis 😂
Or Bloodwulf... or Youngblood.

James Torpy Extreme Super Christmas Special #1?
I second that! Pleeeeeese?!?
best thing of sitting in the train to work on a monday morning is listening to the good, the bad & the ugly

John Jones Problem is I only know of one crossover from not DC or Marvel, and I doubt Sal has it (It was Valiant crossing over with Image)

I really enjoy these. Keep em coming!
Sweet new camera angle!
I have never even heard of blood axe but I did hear about bloodshot
Love this series, and I would love to see it evolve even further, I would love to see you guys review whole arcs and maybe some newer titles as well?
I like the conversation in this episode.
You guys should do a “Sharp Object” Character episode! Could use Wolverine, Blade, Elektra!
The Bloodaxe twist reveal is still fucking great, Eric Masterson will forever be my favorite Thor.
Love you guys but a microphone upgrade would be great! Kinda hard to hear you since the move to the new studio.
We had to rely on the camera's onboard mic for this episode, the regular sound had some issues!
I love how much Sal loved the St Patrick's Day joke.
Good morning everyone at comic pop, hope you are well. Nice to see ethan appear on yhis show, and I hope you all stay safe and well, comic pop community included
This was a fun discussion. I like it when there isn't a clear choice for every "Good", "Bad" or "Ugly".

Rrrrreally? Hmm, thanks i will have to check those out! Is that the latest run of Squirrel Girl?
Yup it's the latest run. The Doctor Strange series is midway through, so its more tied into the overall story. Squirrel Girl one is just a fun one-shot
The best one I've found was called "Meanwhile."
Do another best moments of comicpop, those are the best.
Love these awesome videos 😎❤️😊
Eric master son, and Bloodshot are both freaking awesome ❤❤❤❤❤
BLOODSHOT BLOODSPORT BLOODAXE AND BLOOD... blood...
I always know it’s gonna be a good episode when I see all four seats taken.
Like the show! Keep it up!
For sharp names her or you forgot cloak and DAGGER
Saw the title of the video, and immediately thought of Blade, lol.
Hey wasn't Bloodsport created during the John Byrne era? I remember having that issue somewhere

Langley M Neely 90’s comics look more dated than 30’s and 40’s comics, and those had dots for colors.

Blood for the blood God!
I believe this Superman comic takes place after he comes back from the dead and during the time where Superman was losing his powers.
Ik this isn't back issues but can you do aquaman rebirth so Ben can review it
DEATH'S HEAD II! My only comic I owned as a kid!
hey maybe you guys should do an issue of Jim Aparo's run on the brave and the bold batman, schlocky batman is the best batman
Brother Blood?
To Sal and/or Tiffany,
Am I missing something? I checked the Weekly Pull Twitter and both your guys' but no news on new episode?

Huh, Superman lets people die? Well, whoever wrote that clearly hates Superman, has no respect for the character, has no idea what he's doing and just wants to make us all depressed.
That's what the Internet keeps telling me, anyway, so what do I know?
For the next G,B,U, how about a Christmas themed special?
No blood wolf?
NANOMACHINES SON!
Funny how bloodsport is good now lol
no shit, this is funny guys!
I have a confession to make: I had such a busy day today that I forgot to watch this episode until now. Apologies Sal but I’m hoping it chills me the flip out XD
BLOODSHOT FTW! At least the new stuff lol. All the old Valiant books are pretty lame as hell.
Martin Aguilar i kinda liked the one where bloodshoot went on vacation.
People shit on the New 52 Superman for having bad stories but everyone forgets how much worse the Post-Crisis Superman comics usually were. I mean seriously, Bloodsport? Electric Superman? Come on.
Yea this is generally the case for everything in existence, all the mediocre shit gets forgotten by time and only the great things get remembered.
Kinda suprised you didnt include Bloodwork from the reacent Flash arc but who am I to judge the restrained dopeness known as ComicPop.
Lol wait superman gets effected by tear gas lol wtf
Bloodsport?????!! Hahahahhaha what a dumb name!!! Hahaha
