Thank you! Beauford was a sweet little guy. We still haven't gotten used to going down to the basement and seeing him there, or hear him rattling his toys around when I was down there filming. The backyard does look weird without the big maple there (even though we do have a lot of other trees around the property), but I think it will look a little more normal when we get the replacement tree in even if it is small. There's just an empty spot in the middle of the deck now.

Thank you. Maples are probably the most susceptible to verticillium wilt, but Ash, magnolia, and redbud, and a lot of others can also be affected. Our arborist gave us a document on trees and shrubs that can get it versus those that are resistant.

I am so sorry for the loss of your rabbit. He was beautiful. It's tough to lose our fur babies.
