Thoes case machines are super smooth, I had a cx210d long reach on hire about a year ago and it was superb.

I found that a good church these days is near on impossible - good that you have Jon. I remain a Christian though. Love you having a go at this with the long reach - LetsDig18 has expereince in this so he was a great choice for ideas on this.

John, Amen to go and belong to a Bible believing church. Church attendance has reduced drastically from the 70's. Then it was 75% or better and today it is around 45% or lower. We must wake up and put God first in our lives. The Case Excavator is doing a great job and the pond is looking good. I Love your videos and you explaining what you are doing . Thanks John and Jodie for good quality entertainment. It's hard to watch anything these days without cussing or violence in it. God Bless my Friends.

No, went back to the original incline and depth once the silt was removed.

The delivery guy made me think of my nephew who owns an earth moving company. Has lots of equipment but a lot of his jobs are in hard to park places and deliver equipment so he finds it easier to rent equipment and have it delivered and his guys just show up at the job site. Usually has to pay for hotels for them since here driving 45-60 miles is a two and half, three hour or more ride. Adds five hours or more just on the road.
He and his wife want to move out of California too. I turned him on to you and a couple other earth moving channels. Says he likes the areas you guys work in. His wife and kids attend a good church, he goes once in a while.

wonder if it would be quicker to rake it all to the edges with the long arm then lay it back with the other 1 ? you almost could just have one pulling it back and other bailing it out and walk them down the bank line. if you need help let me know.

Do you only use United or local companies also? We have the same long reach (only in Link Belt colors) for rent
I have an account with United and they have always been very easy to work with.

John, would it make any sense to pull everything from the middle to the edges before you left, so it had a chance to dry out some so you could stack the mud behind the dryer stuff?

This is a WWCD-moment. Yes, What Would Chris Do? Would he need a long reach? Probably not but he's kind of crazy. Long reach is the safe choice. He would make piles of mud before tossing it up on the bank. He would also build berms with the sand and the mud behind it. You figured it out eventually.
Presumably your speaking about Chris at Letsdig18, he has used them before, last time he used one it was his Uncles.
All you have to do is take your time, never rush a long reach. Nice that your doing something back for your community. 👍
@@everestyeti He do use them but not often. He ventures out in boggy ponds with his 220 and a bunch of mats. But he does his research before he buries his machine to the roof. No rock under the mud, no going out in the pond.
Nowadays, he would grab his dragline just for fun.

The sand is the same thing as silt. The bottom of the pond is clay.
I agree John a ggod non wok church is important along with a preacher that cares about the salvation of the people not his tax exempt status

Any church with 30 acres and big buildings, is not a good church. They seem far to rich, to be a Christ church. Should take all that money and donate it to the needy. This is the exact reason, I think all religions are just cults, masquerading as good people. I say, if you believe in the Bible, than you find a peaceful spot, beside a nice river, and read your gospel. Your Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, did exactly this. He had no building, he practiced outside, mostly by water. Hence baptism practice's. I say it's all fake, but if you believe, than you should practice your religion, just like your Lord did.
