@@carproblemsmax Hi, the Castrol Edge 5W-30 has no longer the approval of BMW. I used it for quite a while myself, but recently my BMW Store told me, that it has no longer the LL clearance.
mod the block and head to take bigger head studs and turbo kit it and standalone ecu map make over 250 hp the only way you will see results worth making a video about tbf shite engine over engineering in some places eg valve train , and some stupid weak points eg 6 m10 head bolts in centre and outer bolts are like m8 wtf .... no wonder head gaskets fail.. big ports in head should make decent power if crank rods can cope
The options are: Change car, change engine to a bigger one, turbo or cheap supercharger kit. The cheap belt charger might be quite convenient for certain builders and budgets. No need for turbo exhaust manifold, no heat problems, etc. Not crazy power, but you don't need that much to turn a Compact E46 sideways for example. I hear they do use these engines in sprint and other sports, with high revving NA builds. So I guess that's possible too. Just sounds like the most expense per horsepower.
2:52 very good tip. i've just sold my 318i so i need only a few more bucks to get the M3 Laguna Seca Blue.
yes buying an m3 is the better option thanks
Whats best oil for it then ? Castrol 5w 30 fully synthetic ?
