Ukraine national was really strong. A bunch of good songs. Even the wild card competition had great songs like Stasya with Rika and Anka with Palala (the wildcard winner).

Sure! “Work Your Magic”, “Historiya Majho Zhiccya”, “My Galileo”, “Like It” were some of the good ones. Did you like our entries?
My favorite Eurovision song would be “Nocturne” from Eurovision 1995. I love “Go” from 1988 edition, “Secret Combination” from 2008 and many many other.

Your taste is strange, if of all the huge variety of Ukraine's Eurovision songs you liked only "To be free", which is much weaker, than the replacement, a great ballad "Sweet People", which was ahead of time. Not to mention other brilliant performances like Jamala's masterpiece"1944", which transcended the contest and sounded even more poignant in 2022, and Go_A's "Shum", a sensational very creative fusion of Ukrainian folk with EDM. You must be very ruSSified, if being a belorussian, you couldn't read the lyrics and understand the main message of this song repeated in English in chorus, that all the divines were born as human beings, so it's up to the individuals how they walk their path, up to sainthood. There was no lip-syncing, just the defective work of the sound engineer, and you didn't even get it and that Jerry had problems with her mike as well, not her voice. Nobody makes Alyona sing 🙂, and she sings well.
Oh, it would be amazing if alyona alyona will also sing the chorus then 👌
Well, «To Be Free» was my personal favorite. Not trying to devalue the other Ukrainian entries. I said they brought a great diversity to the contest and some of my friends absolutely loved «Shum» 👌 It is just not a type of song I would listen to after the contest
There was quite a lot of hidden hostility in your condescending review with some truth tweaking, little lies, and sound distortion in "citations". Funny that you showed a fragment of the subpar 2003 debut but didn't even mention the next year's or any other winners (3!). 🙃🙂And you sneaked in the ruSSian lie about the role of sympathy voting in Ukraine's successes, but nothing about traditionally unfair to Ukraine jury voting, especially obvious in 2018 (0 points, 26th place, while #7 by televoting) and in 2021 (#9 by jury, #2 by televoting). You lied about Ukraine missing the final in 2015: Ukraine didn't participate in 2015 and 2019.
