  • Assassin’s Spaghetti
    Ingredients
    - 1 lb spaghetti - 3 cups tomato puree - 1 tbsp tomato paste - ¼ cup EVOO
    - 1 tbsp garlic - 1 tsp chili flakes - your own salt & pepper- 3 cups water
(to measure 3 cups of water just fill the tomato container to the lowest line_
    Equipment
    - large saucepan/pot - frying pan (preferably nonstick)- large spoon or ladle
    - wooden spoon or tongs (preferably tongs)
    Instructions
    1) Wash your hands
    2) Pour a small amount of your olive oil into a large saucepan or pot and heat over medium heat.
Add in the garlic and cook until it begins to turn golden, stirring occasionally - about 1 minute.
    3) Next, add in the tomato puree and paste, 3 cups of water, and a large pinch of salt, and stir. Raise
the temperature to medium/high until the sauce begins to simmer, then reduce heat to low to
keep the sauce warm while we prepare the pasta.
    4) Pour your remaining olive oil into a frying pan over medium/high heat along with your chili flakes.
When the chili flakes start to sizzle, add in your raw pasta and toss until all of the spaghetti is well
    coated.
    a) You can always keep the chili flakes out if you don’t like spicy stuff :)
    5) Pour in about half of your tomato sauce and move the pasta from side to side in the pan to evenly
distribute the sauce. Continue to cook, occasionally moving the pasta from side to side until most
of the sauce has been absorbed by the pasta.
    6) Turn the spaghetti over with your tongs or wooden spoon and continue to cook until it the pasta
starts to brown, or even starts to slightly burn.
    7) Add in more tomato sauce and repeat the process until the spaghetti is cooked to your preferred
    doneness.
    a) Taste as you go to determine how you like it!
    b) You can add any remaining tomato sauce to the pasta at the end for a saucy version, or
you can serve it relatively dry.
    8) Serve and enjoy!
