Darkstar started selling to wallmart when all the old company's were dieing they didn't want to stop and just leave their skate team out in the cold so they found a way to keep more money coming in they still sold pro models but they wanted people that couldn't afford to pay the big money to still be able to get a decent skateboard

as much as we want to hate on wally world boards, this is kind of a smart move for dwindle. kids can get a decent starter board vs some lame ass batman themed thing with plastic trucks, might get them more interested in skating and overtime they can go to a shop to replace one part at a time to eventually have a full complete. Kinda happened to me way back in the day but i wish the starter boards were better.
for a starter board this thing is exceptionally good. the 15$ boards are really just a waste of money in my opinion. id rebuy one of these decks myself even as a long time skater.
And the worst part is that they will break it by putting it under some extreme test that would break any board, then they go "see this board is junk" buy our board it's not junk.

I got a really good dark star board today for good grades and I think it's amazing board it was originally 50$ but I bought it on sale for 9$ very good deal I'm so happy with it
I have that same bored and I had to take off everything it took like half an hour to 45 minutes but it's worth it's actually not that bad just to make the wheel spin longer you have to loosen it
The trucks are loose alot because the king pin is not put in like the real one like if you take the trucks off the boards then take the truck off the king pin come out that why it get loose even you keep tightening it
I did the same. The only thing it needs is better bearings. My 9/2018 purchase bearings are not speed at all. I have Zealous Classics to put in. It is light, and only 7.75", but just what I needed to practice on. I am small and light.

learning to skate while a stranger watches you is one of the weirdest things ever. especially since everyone can just take pictures and videos of you with their phones. i hate when people around me hahaha.

I'm a beginner, too. Built myself a good complete with all the pieces I wanted, and bought this exact board for a friend with the same graphic. I'm having a great time learning and riding! Tricks are fun so far, but what I really like the most is riding up and down all the banks and hills in my local skatepark. Feels so good!

The best “cheap” board I’ve ever purchased was an xgames complete back in 02 from target. Closet thing to a real complete.
