I love these Mark! Thank you for not only teaching us how to do these but for making us aware that they exist and why. I love that we not only learn a craft from you but we also learn about the history of the craft. And the music you play along with your instructions is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. OMGosh, I was just about to trash some cheap metal chargers I bought last year from my fall decor because they had gotten discolored from use. Love this quick and elegant up cycle!

So pretty! I will be altering 6 pairs of kids jeans and turning them into bell bottoms for my granddaughters in Florida. Researching the type of thread I need to use right now.

we MIGHT be doing a "Studio Tour"... where artists open their studios and you can go see their work, chat with them and such... I think it's wonderful.... but I don't know for sure if Franklin (my husband will be up for it, because he's had a really stressful and exhausting work week. ).
This would be a great Dollar Store craft. The ones near me often have fat squares.

Beautiful. I never thought of fabric ones. You could make all colours for different occasions. I do however love the wooden carved ones as well. Have you tried making some out of a round piece of wood covered in resin iod molds? I'm dying to try some.

Hi Wei, I put the lacquer over the fabric so that they can be wiped. These are not for food but decorative BUT with the lacquer you can wipe them if they get messy.

For paper you could use a regular school glue to get them on the charger and then seal them with a few coats of Minwax so that they're wipeable.

Will the farifuse affect / leave a stain on the chager plate when i want to remove the fabric?
This glue is pretty amazing, not sure if you'll be able to remove the fabric without LOTS of glue residue.
