What I have to say about the 1999 Chevrolet Silverado: GM Redesigns its pickups for 1999 and the succeed at doing it. New highlights include a more conservative styling on the exterior and while the interior is not really radically redesigned it still boasts a number of new improvements. A 4.3 L V6, 4.8 L V8, or a 5.3 L V8 are the engines you can choose from with a 5-Speed Manual or 4-Speed Automatic. Compared to it's competitors we think the Silverado and Sierra are alot tougher this year, but however we still think the Ford F-150 is the number 1 choice. All in all the Silverado still remains a top choice.

The best review ive ever seen in a truck
This truck has a fantastic interior design. Those seats look super comfortable. And I believe the dash layout is still in use today only slightly altered. The GMT900 (07-14 models) had a similar layout with the work truck models and the new 14+ K2XX pickups use something slightly similar in shape but a little more premium looking. It's a great design!

Gonna get a 2001 Silverado LT 4WD with AutoTrac. Two tone paint Deep Ruby Red Metallic. Such a beautiful old school truck. I love it when the Fan Clutch locks up.

I have the same truck but mines black and the back in mine has lots of space. It's a great truck. The outside of mine is beat up a little and the paint is fading on the hood. I love that truck though. It maybe a '99 but it has been the best truck I've ever had. If you're thinking about getting one of these? Do it. It's well worth it. I'd look around though. 7k is a little steep. They go around here for $3,500-5k. Mine costed me 1k but that's bc I bought it from a long time friend. He was gonna sell it for 2k but knew I needed a vehicle so I bought it when I got my taxes. Anyway it's a good buy If you're wanting a good truck that won't let you down and not wanting to spend a lot of money.
