- Deb Ellis, Chair of our Essex Chapter and lifelong environmental advocate, will share which flowers and shrubs are well-suited to sustain wildlife through fall and winter. We will also discuss modernizing fall cleanup, how “leaving the leaves” can nurture your garden, and how native plants can serve as a home and winter food source for pollinators and birds.
She is EXCELLENT!
Excellent presentation of a favorite topic. I've been gardening for wildlife for 25+ years and I never tire of this subject. I did learn something new. Just today I was wondering if I should cut back the agastache seed heads. I will be leaving them stand. Thanks for the information.
