I like her you tube channel a lot - but let be honest it is like a fantasy about glamorous life (in fact her videos are like that as well) - getting ready in a spacious, well designed apartment, wearing fancy clothes, drinking matcha latte and spending the evening in a trendy bar with a drink in you hand, it is like a modern, more sophisticated sex and the city version of life:)
It isn't fantasy if she is living the life and you can too if you aren't given to excuses.
Her Sons & Arrows even if you work hard in life it is simply not possible for everyone to live this dream life with seemingly no responsibilities. don’t be patronising and make people sound lazy for not being able to live up to impossible standards

Thanks HB but that was the easy way. Not authentic and realistic at all. I mean the "Director at Estée Lauder" lifestyle is obviously dreamy, no matter where you're from. As Parisian girl I didn't recognize anything French. Beside the haircut.

I love Violette but I agree, you can see in some of her earlier videos she didn't do it as much.. I know some people have accents when speaking another language but she just says french words in the middle of an english sentence to sound chic when she clearly knows the english version of it

When you feel tired, you just want to go the the easiest version: english words, with your regular accent. Honestly, my cheeks often hurt trying to speak good english the hole day.

I've been born and raised in Paris, still live here and almost no girl has this hairstyle or even clothes style ... Except the ones who want to copy that cliché of effortless french beauty.. But most people in Paris just look like the people of any other random big city lmao (i know it was a joke btw)

Different people eat different breakfasts, it is also because of the country you live in. I come from Poland and we eat salads for breakfast and egss and stuff like that. I hate warm milk and buttered toast? that can't be called breakfast for me, but we are all different and that is so cool :)

You do know you're watching Harper's Bazaar youtube channel, right? I mean, fashion/beauty youtube channels are kinda like the epitome of consumerism, no?
