No, not information overload. You always create the pathway for a learner to succeed. You provide the knowledge- it’s up to us to put it to use in our environment.
Truly love these videos with you and AJ shopping and just overall catching up! I also love to hear the commentary on what makes a good plant to choose when shopping. Really great video!
More of AJ, she is such a gem 💎 Also, not the never ending Pothos holding onto a thread 😂😂😂 we all know that friend and they are so proud of it 🌱😅 thanks for the laughters guys xx
Oh my goodness - to spend a day at the nurseries with the two of you would be one of the most fun days ever! None of my local nurseries in Lacey, Washington USA are so lush and amazing! I have 7 moss poles because of you, Jan!
Love seeing AJ!!! She’s such a sweetheart!!! You need to give us the link when she starts doing videos!!! I like the idea of doing one that covers the basics. I’d watch just to make sure I’m doing everything that I should. 😎😎😎😎🪴🪴🪴🪴
🌈🌵 - Love these wholesale nursery videos with AJ! So happy to hear how great she's been doing with Growing Grounds! So crazy hearing ya'll talk about being chilly in that hemisphere. It's been about 100°f this past holiday weekend in Florida! But the plants are loving the humidity!
Your information is great, Jan. Since last summer I must have built around 50 moss poles, a moss planter and a floating green wall! I’ve transitioned from living in an apartment to living in a plant store 😂 This summer I’ll be building a bigger green wall after painting my apartment, so I can start building them for others as well :) Plants have been a new hobby since 3 years for me and it’s becoming now a business where I help other people green up their spaces. I’ve learnt a lot researching online and trying different ways. Taking chance of inspiration and getting creative is key. As Jan says, the proof is in the pudding. I also really appreciate the talk about business. I think there is a lot of people looking for beauty and a sense of peace at home and helping people find hope through plants is of great service to oneself and others. It’s scary to start your own business but also very rewarding and adventurous. We grow through challenges, as do our plants. We need to adapt and change to keep evolving. Every day is a learning opportunity. Growth never ends :)
Yay for the shoutout to Alberta 🤣 Also, your videos in summer and the weather help me get through winter and the cold. 🥶 and yes we got to like -55 last winter it was horrible.
We have daylight saving time in Canada as well and not to worry. I’m in my bed at 6:30 as well even when it’s sunny out watching UA-cam plant videos ha ha🇨🇦
Great finds and lots of chit chat along the way. I visited some growers up that way with my daughter just over a month ago (mum n daughter day out) and it was so beautiful in that neck o the woods. Obviously we couldn't go to the ones you visited but we got to see some lovely plant places and greenhouses👍🏼🌈 🪴
This is the dream team! Love AJ! It’s so funny cause I was like Miss AJ is flying, and that bus passed y’all so fast! 😂 lmao! Haven’t watched it all yet but I am as I pack. Thanks for being you! ❤🎉
With that camera angle while AJ was driving it gave Carpool Karaoke vibes. I thought both of you were going to end the clip busting out singing a song. 😁
Love these videos with AJ so much. The two of you are adorable together. I’ve been in this hobby for quite some time but I do remember soaking in every little bit of growing advice I could find in the beginning and trying sooo many of them. Now I have several large gorgeous specimens that I do adore but the real joy was the journey in growing them.
I really liked this video. It’s fun and different from the typical content. It’s also nice getting to hear the day to day from y’all. Let’s us in gets more personal which is nice to connect.
I am so jealous of your nurseries. I live in Chicago, Illinois, USA and we don't have anything even close to what you do. My main source for buying plants are the major hardware stores and their selections are really bad. Thank you for bringing us along. I really enjoyed it!
Your plant shops are insane, I am so jealous 😅🫣 our plants look like baby plants here 🇨🇦😆 I never see a calathea this size and many other here. Very interesting when you talk about very various subject, you are interesting ! 🙂
🪴🪴🪴 listened to you guys while driving and it was like a really entertaining podcast. Even though I couldn’t see the plants-you guys sound great together! Maybe a future idea?!?
🌈💐🌿 enjoy the journey was the theme here and I love it! For plants and life. Wasn't sure I was up for a long form but you two are delightful and it went by so quickly
I'm so with you and AJ on the being cold when the temps aren't that low. Moving from the USA where the homes north (I can only speak on where I lived) are mostly insulated since it gets so cold and snowy so I was used to the temp outside being low but warm and cozy inside. Whereas in NZ I am so so cold even though the temps do not get even nearly as low. Idk what it is but it's so embarrassing lol putting my heat on so early or bringing out the puffer jacket at the end of spring start of fall season. Fun fact: the USA participate in daylight savings but not all states such as Arizona. Jan thanks for sharing your dinner date story... and for sharing your special moments in life with us. ❤. Hi AJ much love for you and your laugh.
Yay!! AJ! The U.S. has daylight savings as well. Just got back from a trip to Colorado and it was sunrise at 5:30 a.m!!! Needless to say, I don’t see sunrise until 6:45 a.m. (ish) I woke up every single morning with the sun! 🤦🏻♀️ Loved this video!!!
That is hilarious once it hits below 10 degrees Celsius, it is cold to me. The states have daylight savings but there has been discussion to get rid of it. That was cute when AJ said drizzle doesn't exist anymore. The "chop" your diffenbachia comment was funny. Now I have to look that up.
Hi AJ love videos with you in it! We also have Daylight Savings Time here in the US and hate it lol. I’ve been thinking of y’all saying your conditions are different than ours. That being said my Anthurium veitchii is one of my easiest plants. It’s still small but the last leaf was 13” so it’s beginning to size up.
Congratulations on quitting your job!! Love how the conversation is also included in this plant shopping video. I feel like I'm also in the vehicle with you guys hehe. 💕🥰🌈
Hi . Being watching a lot if your video. Would love to know where we can get the plastic back moss poles. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
@@sydneyplantguy hmm yeah looks like it. But as it seems we dont have the grey star in germany. All I can find is the 'Compact'. Same species but another variety I guess. But I dont really like that one
So true about houses in Australia. I’m from the US and my family can’t believe so many houses have glass panels on them. That never happens in Colorado because it would let too much cold in 🤣
I'm only 7 minutes in but I have to tell you that in the United States we have daylight savings too and we hate it here. Some states have voted to get rid of it but the federal government has to allow it and they haven't
I’m definitely feeling the cold. I reside in Bathurst. 😅. I love your videos in general but I always have very much love watching AJ ❤❤. I have two makeshift greenhouses for outside and heat mats for my alocasia. Some are struggling 😢
@@sydneyplantguy I agree. This morning it was -1 😂. I’m okay with the cold temperature, but my plants aren’t, they’ll be ok though:). If they go dormant, it’s not a massive deal as they will come back when it’s warmer.

In the US, most of the states have daylight savings time. And there has been a lot of legislation over the years to overturn DST, but they usually don't pass. Luckily, the area of the state I'm in does not follow DST... You guys need some extra fluffy, soft blankets for cozy time 😺🫖🧣🏡
