Alex Morgan plays as a forward for the U.S. women’s national team, as well as for Tottenham Hotspur of the English FA Women’s Super League and the Orlando Pride of the NWSL. A two-time World Cup winner and an Olympic gold medalist, Alex has twice been a finalist for FIFA’s World Player of the Year. In this conversation, Alex talks with teammate and friend Kelley O’Hara in her first full-length interview since giving birth to daughter Charlie in May.

Alex, you're correct about kids being pigeon holed into a sport. But it's not always coaches. Sometimes it's parents. I was one of them. Sadly... As an older parent, I've look back and wish I'd put my kids in as many sports as possible. But I didn't and stuck them I the one "I" enjoyed most. Things we'd change as parents, lol. We do the best we can, right?
