I was Honored to be in this Music Video with the Ramones in 1984! I'm the Kid in the beginning of the Video putting down the Small television on a Shelf wearing a red Bandana around my head. Then working on an Item in the background after the Forklift drives by.
Very nice dude
My brother, who passed away recently was the still photographer for that video (he went on to become a famous movie photographer 😉📸)... Our family dog was sitting in the lady's lap at the end, and I was crouching in the corner as Joey Ramone told everybody to leave the room except for me and whoever was shooting the video!

The world never knew what they had with The Ramones.
Honestly that's why I loved them in the 80's when I was first getting into Punk , but now they're gone and famous 🤔
Argentina knew.
Lemmy knew.
🇧🇷👍
Ah yes. Another tune I wore the *hell* out of on my Walkman, back in the day. Feels great to hear it again during the last weekend of 2023 and the first weekend of my retirement.
Five years since my dad died, this was our song. Miss him every second of every day.
Lost my dad in 2014. Cheers to your old man!
RIP to both of your dads

I'm so sorry for your loss , my father is seriously I'll In hospital right now , im preparing for the phone call to say he has passed away . It's very painful but they stay alive in our hearts and in music . Ramones were a beautiful band , I have been listening to them alot recently and they are such a comfort and always make you feel better . What a great song , you and your father have . God bless x
Rest his soul
Joey's vocals are godly here!
beautiful song. RIP Joey
Why wasn’t this a hit? It’s a classic
This is my favorite song of theirs.
+Colemann76: You could say that about SO MANY Ramones songs.
Sounds like a later ramone song ? Anyone know what year??
@@fleadoggreen9062 1984 so mid period
This one and Something to Believe In. I still don't get why those weren't a hit, it has the 80's classic sound.
Favorite Ramones song! Too Tough to Die is such an awesome album.
Ramones ... la chala chaaalaaalaaaa😊🇦🇷🎄
Goddamnit I wish I could have seen these guys live. One of the best bands ever. RIP
I wish I could have too,I bet it would have been a blast!
I did get to see them live 2 times in 1985. I was 21 !!!
@@ventues9751 nice!! I can only dream!!
+@Rock78 Rock78: I did see them in 1990. It was great.
It was in 1985 when I got the first 9 Ramones vinyls on loan from a study buddy of mine. It changed EVERYTHING! I bought my first Ramones T-shirt and listened to the cassette tapes all the time. I saw the band four times here in Finland: in 1988, 1990, 1991 and 1994. I consider Too Tough to Die their 4th best album after Rocket to Russia, Leave Home and It's Alive.

"I wanna steal from the rich and give to the poor"

One of the greatest bands with one of the most depressing stories. They should have been multimillionaires with numerous gold/platinum albums and numerous #1 hits. R.I.P.

I don't remember any #1 hits?
@joeflorek5988 can you read? Or do you just lack basic comprehension?
In fact, although it was always expected that justice would be done to them with recognition, gold and platinum records, and awards, the Ramones did fulfill their goal of going very far, an example of which is having played live in a certain island territory in the North Pacific. whose official language is not English and which the Italians call Giappone. 😎⭐
Idk what it is... But as soon as you hear & see the Ramones everything is alright
Joey said, “The Ramones will always be there... when you need a lift. When you need a fix.”

Joey's voice was amazing in this song. Nobody compares to him.
I just love the mid 80s Ramones, Animal Boy is my favorite Ramones album, Too Tough To Die is also great and and this is my favorite Ramones track ever. There are dozens of us!!
At record store day in April 2022, there was a 7-LP box set of the Ramones 1980s records. I didn't get in line too early, so I was kinda nervous. But before they opened, the owner was walking the line and asking people what they were there for, to let people in the back know if they had a chance on what they wanted: "What are you lookin' to get?" "The Ramones 1980s 7-LP box set" "Ok, you're safe."

Really? Think its in End of the Century doc where they talk about how early MTV didnt have enough videos for their content so theyd play Ramones a lot lol
They didn't need MTV
Lo dijo Joey, Mtv arruino la música.

Joey was the coolest person I ever said HI to ...Greatest band ever. I shouldn't say that ...DEE DEE was very friendly too
And now you're the coolest person I ever typed to. Lol
face to face?
You WHAT???? Really? That's awesome!
@@daviddamasceno6063 Actually got to hang with DEE DEE for about an hour ...another nice guy . Joey said to us one night ...UHHH , YOU GUYS AGAIN ... and gave a chuckle . We saw about 6 or 7 shows in about 10 days ... They were getting used to us down in front . I miss those days
I'd have to go with David Bowie, Lou Reed, or Andy Warhol. Downtown NYC in the late 70's and 80's was a blast.
Temazo... Ramones amaron la Argentina y la Argentina a ellos
Correct me if Im wrong but this is some of the best shit to ever drive to, this slaps so much harder than I remember

Not that today's music sucks, it's just that yesterday's Ramones were so much better.
Saw this video once or twice on MTV and from that I bought the album. From playing that album I was curious if this band had any other records; so I went down to the city to a locally famous used record store and bought some of their earlier work . From that I learned how great the RAMONES were ! ! ! !

First time I heard this was wasted on NewCastle and Jameson at 16yrs old. Standing on the first floor roof and staring up at the night sky. Life seemed so full of promise.

Dee Dee is an underrated songwriter.

Not really underrated.they are one of the biggest bands ever...rightly so

I loved this song video ... recorded it on a vhs tape back in late late 80's off of Toronto's Much Music.. Originally a music video station! Take back the airwaves✊ SHA LA LA LA
Awesome!!
Noice! I had the video on a Beta tape...reserved only for music videos recorded off TV (mainly 'Video Hits' and 'Good Rockin' Tonight'). I think my brother and I filled about three tapes of carefully selected videos. The 80's was a great time to be a kid!
One reason I like these old videos by the Ramones is that they look like four regular guys. They are obviously not styled by professional stylists, and have low budget videos.
Psycho Therapy is low budget?
Joey had stylist
Grande grande joey

Dunno bout that. Whenever you hear a slow poppy pukey love ballad of theirs it's just a fact that there's no punk rock there at all 😂😂😂👎👎
Punk is in NY but it's being played by kids that weren't even born until the Ramones were long gone 🤔
Damn, to be a rocker in NYC in the 80s must of been insane.

Saw this song on MTV when it came out . Maybe saw the video a few more times (it never made high rotation). But that was enough to make me love the Ramones ! Quickly bought all their old albums and began listening to all the classics. Still have a 'mix' CD in my car..........
Underrated song in their discography. This song and Bonzo hinted at a deeper Ramones. Too bad Johnny didn't appreciate what the other guys were trying to do.
@HeHateMe 'far right' He was a Reagan styled conservative. He was right wing, but not fringe.
@@jameskowanko7574 Yeah, and that was his shortcoming. Paleoconservatives like Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul have takes that aged a lot better than the Reagan neocon tax-cuts-for-the-rich crap.
It is a very political song as they sing "Conservatives can cry, I took the law and threw it away."

La única banda que en verdad hacía la música por negocio desde el inicio y lo hacían bien todo el tiempo, ellos en verdad amaban su trabajo
Ramones Nunca Moriran😎👍🎤🎸

Its funny that the Ramones didn't even like music videos yet they still found some great talent to produce some great music videos.
They had to during that stage of their career to stay relevant. Around 1981 to 2000, music videos were a big factor for bands and artists to make the fans recognize or keep up with them. So it wasn't much a surprise.
@@philliplandry4139 haha I know, I watched mtv almost right away.
Johnny's hair looks really cool in this video. Although..he always looked super cool. But the super tight bowl looks good without the mulletish back and sides. Hehe.
I'm wondering if it's because his hair was just growing back. Was it 1983 when he had to have surgery on his head due to being jumped? If so, they likely shaved his head.
Oh and gotta be a jerk here but there was never anything "mullet" about Johnny's hair style. I see this a lot but people seem to think any long hair is a mullet. A mullet is basically your average short hair cut but long only in the back of the head. I thought it was stupid looking in the 80s and still do.
@@brandonhendrix7223 It is from the period after his surgery. He almost died from the beating he took. I remember it was in all the New York papers when it happened. My dad came home from work and handed my the New York Post and said your guitar hero was almost killed last night.
