- In this lecture we analyze the two dimensional band structure graphene, a 2D honeycomb sheet of sp2 hybridized carbon atoms and find that it is a perfect semimental. This lecture was designed and delivered by Patrick Woodward for use in the course Solid State Chemistry (Chem 7330) at Ohio State University.
Thank you so much, professor.
You saved my life.
Great video, well explained! Looking forward to a video for bilayer graphene Moire superlattice.
Fantastic lecture, Pat!
At 9:30, should it be when we discuss the translation along a* in reciprocal space, it's the translation along b in real space, instead of a?
great effort
Inderd it makes me feel much better about BZcorelation with bandstructure
Can you make a video on how to calculate elastic constants of Graphene using VASP and how to analyse it?
I always noticed that the points (111) became (kx=ky=kz=pi/a) and
X(011) becam (Kx=Ky=pi/a , Kz=0) Is there a rule for transferring them..? please
Hello' .... As far as xrd analysis is concerned, at the zone boundary differaction of x rays occurse. But in case of electric transport something happens again at the zone boundaries. Is it differaction or interference or scattering or dispersion?
Keen I am. Visually impaired I am. Closed Caption a boon. terms used cc strange: 1. brewon? Brillouin?; 2. Debris one zone? I have listened up to 3:49. so far
I'm not sure how to convey this in a way that would be clear to a visually impaired person, but the terminology is Brillouin zone (pronounced bree-wan zone).
