I've been recording trains around the Tehachapi area as I practice with my drone.. I haven't posted any specific train videos yet. But after seeing your videos, there's just no comparison to being right down at their level. It's more visceral. Their speed and their size is best seen when you're just a few feet away from them. UP's Mojave sub is a North/South railroad. It's been like that for 25 years now. I don't know why railfans insist on West/East, that isn't a thing anymore.

I know it. Railroad is north to west but everyone refers to east to west
cool seeing mid train dpus on manifest, 9813 is a great catch she'll be used to heavy 152 car coal trains or 170 + car potash and grain trains
