3 things... this song is fine as it is without the nightcore (especially with the sopranos already singing quite high), you sped it up but forgot to watch the compression and bit crushing of the audio, and the characters should have been replaced with kawaii anime versions for this to be a proper nightcore video XD
I feel like the first part of the song seems underwhelming in nightcore. I feel like the slow beginning of the song in the original is what adds emotion to it. But hearing sped up, not really sure how to feel.
