    I was placed in foster care with a police sergeant who's wife was the foster carer, it was all a financial hustle for the financial kick backs. On the first night there after my step father literally trying to kill me I was not hungry, the sergeant and his son beat me relentlessly for supposedly disrespecting his wife by not eating. I was sick in my stomach from a traumatic ordeal and was handed straight into another. In that struggle I was knocked unconscious no less than 3 times as I tried to flee. The next day I managed to escape and the sergeant then used the police to hunt me down, I was beaten pretty severely to the point of not being able to walk. When I say beaten severely this is coming from somebody who had a childhood of coming up under a stepfather who hated me and literally wanted me dead, yet even he had more sense than to beat me to the extent the foster system and the police did but I guess thats how it is when you're dealing with those above the law

      I believe the kids are lying. Not only did a judge who went to school many years I’m sure, determined they were lying. But also the fact that they are able to record themselves and talk about it so openly. Actual abuse victims most of the time are submissive. Regardless, this type of behavior is the parents fault.

  • @tinaf600

    That video was hard to watch. I wish the kids had proof of recording or videos of their mom being abusive. The courts believe the wrong parent often. I pray those kids get justice. God sees it all.

    • @ThanksHermione
      @ThanksHermione Рік тому +18

      Sadly, even with proof, guardians ad litem frequently refuse to look at documented evidence. Family courts tend to be the same, or they downplay what happened. Also, there are laws regarding recording people speaking which usually prevent them from being allowed in court. (Recording people without their consent is typically illegal.)

    I've been called an abuser, a narc, an evil person for standing up to my mother. It is torture to watch this. I hope that Maya and Sebastian are saved. This system is made just to f*** up the lives of abused kids and treat the abusers like victims of a horrible tragedy. Everything is in our best interest according to the system, but we can't have input on our best interest. Our best interest is not with our abusers.

    I don't understand their mother's expectations. Does she think this is the best way to heal her relationship with her children? It seems like she's punishing them for not wanting her. There has to be better methods than this barbarism. I saw the video of the people trying to get Maya into the vehicle. They actually did undress her. She's a child and was subjected to a horrible abuse of power and assault. I highly doubt that reunification camps are successful. We know that wilderness camps for unruly kids are dangerous. Why would anyone think this wouldn't also be dangerous? It's heartbreaking and infuriating.

    • @FrodeBergetonNilsen
      @FrodeBergetonNilsen 11 місяців тому +1

      They won't say. Not even what type of abuse.
      CBS had this report about someone claimed to be impotent, and had faulty equipment, and thus there could be no abusive behavior. Not sure what to make of that, but somehow the kids claims were false because of that. I guess I was wrong when I though the mom was a woman? Probably just me.
      Just for reference, gaslighting in both meanings of the term, is abuse. Both seem to apply in this case. There is a ton of victimblaming hitting these kids, which is another form of abusive behavior. Threats as described in this statement is abuse, like forced to sleep outside if they do not comply with something. That is at least abusive. Being stuffed into cars, like both of these kids were, is clearly a violent act. The videos are heartbreaking. It is all there. All you need to do is listen.
      The kids seem to express, that the mom supports all of the above. That is on top of, whatever happened before all of this.

    Wow, I have to say, if you have a teenager, you know this is not the language a teenager speaks. It sounds like it was written for her, in someone else's words. If so, who wrote it? I have to question this for the sake of the child. As we all know a child can be manipulated and coerced to say things or agree to things out of fear. Even though Mya might say she wrote it, If it wasn't confirmed that Mya wrote it, it is just victimizing the child all over.
