I need to explore Canva alot more lol I had no idea they had added tables and or if there is anything else new in there I could be using. Thank you Faith for showing this.
Great tutorial! I am loving your new channel. I do have one frustration with Canva. I there any way to put an outline around a shape? Thanks for your help. ❤
Amazing video faith, really loved it. I have a question though.. For a monthly planner we have just twelve months, does this mean your planner would have just 12 pages? If not what occupies the rest of the pages? Im new to KDP and a bit confused
Hi Adam. Thank you! I'm glad you found the tutorial helpful! Actually, there's no right or wrong in terms of how many pages you want to publish for your planner, on your own site, any online shop or KDP. You can create monthly, weekly, daily planners, or journals. So it's really up to you to design what you want to create and sell! And yes, you can certainly only have a 12-page planner too, preferably with a cover. =)
hello its my 1st time here.. i love your video.. i love the way you speak... do you have a video on how to make learning printables? because i want to make my own printables for kinder and preschool and also to sell it too.. i dont know if all my clipart or grapics i downloaded is ok to use.. they are all freebies.. Thank you in advance..
If we want to sell or give away our finished calendars, how should we advise our customers to print them out? On paper or cardstock? Or is it entirely a matter of personal preference? Thanks!
Hi Dwana, that's a great question! To be honest, I think at the end of the day, it would be a matter of personal preference for your customers. However, as a seller, it would be good practice to make suggestions on how best to print your product. Because the problem with digital products is that they might look good on the screen, but the final print quality really depends on the individual customer. When I sell personal use wall art printables, I will specify that Cardstock paper is recommended. I've also sold wall art printables with glittery designs so I suggested that glossy photo paper is recommended. The idea is to make a recommendation so that in the event your customer prints out based on their preferences but don't seem to get the 'ideal' quality, and makes a complaint or bad review, you can safely and gently point out to them that the printing recommendations were stated as such and such. Hope this clarifies!
How did you duplicate the boxes so they went across the table? When I tried to duplicate the small box edit copy edit paste it pasted them all by the original box
After you make a duplicate, move it to the desired position. The next duplicate will typically auto-populate in the same distance based on the artificial intelligence. If not do it at least twice so there's a 'pattern' and the third duplicate should go to the assumed position based on the pattern of the first two duplicates. Hope this makes sense!
I have streamed your videos for the 3rd day in a row because u teach so well! Can't thank you enough for all this information.

what size should i use when i want to create something for ipad lets say? thank you
I'd typically just create the planners in US letter size. Because even for the largest iPad Pro, it will still look good enough
Wow
Haha. The table feature is very helpful!

What size is the template? If you don’t mind me asking. I would love to create my own calendar.
I usually use US letter size so it’s 8 inches in height and 11 inches in width if you want to create it in landscape format
