This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

There is satisfaction in solitude. I like how Krishnamurti a.k.a Alcyone says can you be silly without something to compare yourself with. I am silly, without comparison, I know I am definitely silly 😅. I adore this man❤

Loneliness and solitude are not the same thing

Hey there! When i investigate in that question i see that the term "silly" only has meaning when i use it in comparison.
So i look at Krishnamurti and say "my god! how silly i am!", but that is a comparison.
A comparing mind leads to mediocrity and it prevents me from facing the facts.
I can see that i cant face the facts. And thats a sickening feeling :(
(Is it similar to what you said in regards to sillyness?)

It's nice to see an engaged participant sort of challenging K. Most people who got a chance to speak with him on film seem so terrified they don't understand his teachings that they often say the stupidest things to move the conversation along without really saying anything at all. Or just repeat K's words to get his confirmation and put the ball back in his court. Interactive discussion is the best way to root out meaning; I wish there'd been a lot more of that with K.
I think we don't face the fact of loneliness because we know the answer and even the questioning will frighten us. Delving into loneliness will lead us right to the precipice of a cliff looming over a bottomless pit of despair. Have you been there? I don't like to stay long when I visit. I keep busy, getting more knowledgeable but still in avoidance...no capacity.

Don't escape. Face the fact and a new reality will appear for you.

I think i cant face the fact of loneliness as well.
But i also think i have a different approach to loneliness:
"Should i feel lonliness when there is abundance?" - Tao te ching
I mean when i face the fact that iam lonely, it means that i see myself as an individual.
But when i stop thinking about myself as an individual, but like a part of menkind that has all the previous life in "me", "i" dont feel lonely anymore. Because menkind is always with "me", since "iam" a human.
So as long as as my thoughts make me think iam a individual, i will be lonely.
Thats what i understand as the "psychological desease" that we humans have.
So i was there often times and i never stayed long as well. But i was scared to return. Know i have the feeling that this is a great illusion that springs from the idea that we are psychological individuals.

There are tons of videos and discussions where K is “challenged” by children, scientists, philosophers, scholars, teachers, etc. They don’t yell like Dr Shainberg but they ask extremely pertinent questions. Did u listen to the discussions between K and Rishi Valley students? Anyways, there’s no need to challenge K. It’s not a competition or a debate. It’s understanding another person, which is completely different than what we are taught - competition, comparison, role models, etc. All these cause isolation - continuation of isolation is loneliness. In other words, if u escape from loneliness BE AWARE that all the activity is still loneliness in a different form

Not what he teaches here. When you mentioned @@fleecemane2638 " loneliness when there is abundance" there for you compare ....he's looking at the loneliness as just a fact not the actual meaning of it and why one is lonely. Becuse no matter all the reasons you may think you are and quote: " an individual, but like a part of mankind that has all the previous life in "me", "I" don't feel lonely anymore. Because mankind is always with "me", since "I am" a human." ... THE FACT is the loneliness still remains.

We come in this world alone, and we will leave it alone. That's a fact, therefore loneliness is a thought. The fear of being lonely is due to comparison....thought on thought.

... So what is the right way to look at it, to face the 'fact'?
Without comparison, I'm not lonely. I just am.
Is that the point he wanted to communicate?
The video is too short to know

Exactly ...i am observing that I am lonely IT is a fact ...and is not by comparison it just is ...i accept it and continue living with it as an illusion there for I can't escape from it !!! (it describes me perfectly)
