It’d be nice if you made a video teaching how to PK. I think getting more ppl into it and keeping it alive is vital to keeping OSRS alive. Like showing us how to stack hits and time them along, etc.
I just came to OSRS from rs3 and there is no pvp in rs3 so it’s a new world to me

@@buyerenogurlfwendo2106 if there is any mini games in it I’m not aware. Definitely none that anyone uses. They made the wilderness opt in and that was the end of it. That’s what drove me to OSRS because imo, the best late game content is pvp as PVM gets boring after a while. Plus It can be done as the best money maker in the game (if you’re good obv).

Imo it's surprising it's still like 8-9m. Its only purpose is pvp and plenty of people go to Kree for the 30-40m armor pieces. I would've expected it to be like zammy hilt these days.

As someone who pked in 2006, That was never the gear people PK'd in.
They Pk'd in a few items of it, the boots, the top, the legs, but they'd usually just bring a few smaller items as to not risk 10m.
10m 06 is like 2B 2022 OSRS.
He said that would have been max, not what the majority of people used.
I used to pk naked, using ice barrage and magic short bow lol. Worked out half decent sometimes

I used to PK on runescape classic, varrock border to edgeville was the greatest place to be. It was like a constant 24/7 free for all of pile jumping, gangs of ten rangers attacking the same person at once, a spot for low level mages, a spot for 1v1s... it's just not the same anymore.
There really was nothing better! Pking has became too high skilled now it has kind of ruined it

True 2006 pking setup was mystic robes, dhide and rune lol. Maybe some occasional granite and splitbark but taking barrows into wildy, no chance.
i stopped playing for a year now or so , but im a PVM player, because im terrible at Pvp in OSRS , i was just relaxing making money, while i pvp again in World of warcraft. but Runescape since the beginning will always be my number 1 mmorpg for relaxing

Just a heads up regarding ur vpn. That auctally doesnt work for netflix. They have a system where they detect vpn usage and then put you on a server called ”international” which doesnt have much more to offer. Auctally a lot of movies dissapear that way since they need to be licensed for every country.

The biggest and weirdest change from when I PKed is that nobody seems to dm now. "Back in my day" if you ran out of food and had a shred of honour, you'd fight to the death rather than teleport away, but that doesn't seem to be the case any more.

Can we get just 3 new worlds for separate servers to play the original old school runescape exactly as it was in 2006 before godwars. Some minor quality of life updates can remain but for the most part leave everything original such as the wilderness with no pj timer and original skull trick ( relogging removes your over head skull Indicator until you enter combat)
If this was implemented i bet my life each world on those servers would be FULL 24/7) ❤
