Happy anniversary. Don't fret the early videos, they document progress the same way painting does. Each one shows development of skill level and refinement of technique. Keep on creating!
Thank you Peggy! Oh for SURE, I totally agree. Also, everything becomes easier as we go along, I think. The real challenge is keeping at it for the first year or so when the going is really tough. I always appreciate your kind words. :-)
Awwww! Thank you for your comment, Sue! I’ve been wanting to make a new video for SO LONG, but have been mired in caregiving. I hope (and anticipate) that things will ease up for me so I can fully engage again.
How nice to watch your UA-cam channel. I suddenly thought... hey I met you during a live zoom from Emma Carlisle... you have a super nice channel and yes, the frogs are absolutely fantastic and you can certainly be proud of your UA-cam channel. I experienced the exact same thing. I think I have been making UA-cam videos for 2 years now. thanks for this openness and see you next time emma. Greetings.
Hi Miranda! Thank you for your comment here! I saw you yesterday at Drawing Club. :-) It’s such a treat to get to see your studio and process on your channel.
Hi Kendra, congrats on your anniversary. When I subscribed, I think you had 12 subscribers so you've come a long way, well deserved btw. I think you may be a little too critical on your first few videos as they are amongst my favourites and occasionally re visit them. So, keep posting and I'll keep looking forward to them. Take care.
Hi Keith! Happy New Year to you! Yes, you might have even been in the first 10 subscribers. :-) You don’t know just how encouraging your notes were for me last year. Thank you!
I couldn't live without my pets. Currently 2 big dogs and 1 cat. But I've had as many as 4 dogs, 7 cats, 5 ducks, 7 chickens, 2 rabbits and a ferret - all at once. They bring the life to my house. They soothe me when I'm sad, they take care of me when I'm sick, they make me laugh and sometimes cry. I will never not have a pet. It isn't death that frightens me. It is aging and maybe having to live in a nursing home without a dog at my feet and a cat in my bed. Or, even worse, to have alzheimer's and forget how much I love the animals in my life. I didn't know there were people who would never have a pet because they think they are just something to take care of. They are so, so much more.

Awww, thank you. I’m stuck on frogs, it seems, but they are fun.

You’ve found peace and joy in your animals! That’s a beautiful thing.
