All you have to do it drill 4 holes in the floor board, big bolts and washers and ebay lap belts… I’ve done it on a couple… sweet car btw! I know the feeling of everyone looking at you cruise through town
Hey! I came over from Facebook. You're right, it's 283ci (same engine as mine👍🏻). That's a 4.6L. It caught me off guard when the Auto Zone worker asked if I had the 4.6 as I had only heard the 283, 327, and 409 names. Glad you brought attention to the safety issues, the X-frame is a poor design for sure. Really enjoyed the camera POV.
The 283 had 1hp per cubic inch making it a 283 hp engine ,one of the best engines Chevrolet made next to the 327 bullet proof engine practically unless you run it with no oil of course beautiful car bro 😍😍
I daily a 62’ Nova with a 194’ I6, same trans as your car. My car tops off at like 78 or so. I’d be curious to see if the Impala is faster cause of the power or slower cause of the weight.
