@@kg-Whatthehelliseventhat Yes, it is true that red heads can require sometimes 20% more anesthetic than non-redheads. What we suspect is the same MC1R gene mutation that produces the red hair (due to the mutation producing pheomelanin instead of melanin which is what gives hair its pigment) also leaves the people with that gene mutation with higher anesthetic requirements to produce the same effect than people without the mutation.

I am amazed at the number of drivers who do NOT wear their seatbelts! Just the percentage of drivers that you Frank come into contact with is ridiculous. I’ve worn a seatbelt from the time my dad installed them in our family vehicle in the 1960’s. Before they were mandatory. I still do, into my 70’s. P.S. I’m from CA😊

Australia: Seatbelts have been mandatory here for about 40 years, maybe more. You can be stopped by police for that offense. We also have cameras (mainly at traffic lights) that detect seatbelt violations, and mobile phone use. (Both are offences). Mobile phone ticket runs at about A$1000, at this time. And that is still too lenient.
I love the way you dealt with the mom, addressing her greatest concern first. “ The boys are ok.” Son was in the back seat with his GF, which is why the other kid was driving, but his attention was on what was happening in the back seat rather than actually driving. “ I don’t smoke weed sir, my brain 🧠 got stuck in my zipper. “ 🙄🙄
I've always worn my seat belt since they were first available in the cars my dad bought. Back in the late 1960's when I was in the 6th grade, we had a police officer come and do a speech to the entire school. At one point he was talking about the advantages of seat belts. One little girl said she didn't wear her seat belt because if she was traveling in the mountains and the car went off the road she wanted to be able to jump out of the car. The officer replied "How many mountains are there around here?" Our nearest mountain was 50 miles away. Now when I hear someone ask how fast you can drive without a seat belt and still be ok in an accident? The very fastest you can run is probably 5 to 8 miles per hour. Now run into a brick wall and tell me how safe that was.
I hit a tree once, at about 15mph, with my seatbelt on. The car was a POS and the engine cut out while I was going around a curve. The steering wheel locked. I hit the brakes as hard as I could (no power brakes with engine off) and still hit the tree about 15mph. It was a brutal impact, totalled my car and gave me a fractured tailbone. Very painful injury. Nevertheless, had I not been wearing a seatbalt the force of that impact would have killed me, or at the very least caused severe brain damage.
Here's your 🍪 for wearing a seat belt. Please don't move to my state. I'm perfectly capable of making choices about things like wearing a seat belt and don't need or want your opinion on the subject.
Frank, tell the ladies who aren’t wearing a seat belt that Princess Diana might be alive today if she had worn her a seat belt. Love your videos! God bless you!
Funny, my father told me the same thing 40 years ago before I ever got a learners permit. You don’t hold court on the side of the road, a man is there doing his job that he is paid to do…just accept the ticket and if you want, go to court and fight it.
❤ What is the 1st thing everyone usually does on a roller coaster? YUP! Strap their butt IN! Seatbelts save lives! In roll overs, people fly like rag doll.
It. Blows. My. Mind. How many people don’t wear their seatbelts. I’ve been in several car accidents & my seatbelt saved my life & my family’s when an 18 wheeler rammed into the back of us on I 10 (Louisiana). Made us plow into a pickup truck ahead. It was pouring rain & thankfully we were all going fairly slow. Back windshield imploded, airbags deployed (dang, they STINK!) & my daughter’s dog flew into the front seat but we were all okay except a few bruises. There’s just no excuse to not be wearing the seatbelt.
You are absolutely right about the whole marijuana thing Frank! I'm 68, and smoked a little pot back in the day...BUT no way would I drive, or even go outside my home. Yes, it's a social drug, but that only means a group of people or friends, NOT getting stoned in public. I am horrified by how big pharma is obviously messing with it.
You should be horrified about all the other crops that are genetically modified as well. Humans are always wanting to improve things. It’s what we do. Better marijuana, sweeter grapes, bigger bananas, drought resistant crops, etc. It’s happening with pretty much everything we grow.
Heard from an Officer, and love it: Officer: Caught you going 65 in a 55 Me: Everyone else was going 65! Why me? Officer: You ever been fishing, son? Me: Yes sir. Officer: Did you catch all the fish?
Hey Deputy Frank I’m a firm believer in seatbelts because of an accident I had years ago When you were saying that things happen the day of my accident I (yes wasn’t wearing one) was in a head on with another car, we impacted so hard that my seat unlocked and slid forward and I ended up flying through the windshield I cut my face open, broke my right knee, and cut open my left knee (both knees were cut by the edge of the dash just under the steering wheel) Anyway after years of paying out of pocket a very large hospital bill and several doctors bills for plastic surgery to my face and knee surgeries I learned a valuable lesson to click it and insisting everyone in my car to do the same (or we don’t go anywhere) To this very day I have gotten into a car without my seatbelts
Some years ago I was hit by a learner, who was accompanied, but not by a licence holder. This meant that the driver was not insured. The vehicle belonged to the mother of the driver, and she had insurance. I reported the accident to my insurer, who also happened to be the with the same company. The insurance company took care of my repairs, but the vehicle owner was left to fend for herself due to allowing a learner drive the vehicle without suitable supervision.
Watching from New Hampshire. The “live free or die” state. It isn't a requirement to buckle up in New Hampshire if you are over the age of 18. NH is the only state that doesn’t require an adult to wear a seatbelt. Thought that was interesting. Buckle up buttercup!
Great episode. I remember my dad being so happy when they started putting seatbelts in cars. He was in the air force so he knew the importance of having them and using them.
Circa 1:38: "When is the last time you smoked any weed?" "I've never smoked." "Good idea: That stuff makes you stupid." Good rejoinder, except in his case, you should have said, "Good idea: That stuff makes you *even stupider*!"
I will say, Frank’s videos are not only educational for traffic violations, but also vocabulary!! I’m learning new words like innocuous. haha! Thanks Frank!!
Marijuana is not a bright idea. My brother started smoking it at the age of 12, and it spiraled out of control in ways that you can’t imagine. He’s 64 years old now, and we never thought he’d make it that long. 😳
This is the Bank Robbers version of the fishing expedition. Robbers hop out of two cars and enter the bank. Soon, the robbers come back out, one carrying a large bag probably full of money, hop into the cars, speed off in different directions, just as one LEO arrives. Question: Which car does the policeman apprehend, the one with the bag of money, or the one without the money? The robbers with no money offer the most leverage. They ain't got no money, but they know who does!
Did you see the mud flap special; I did! Lol. Frank is getting popular! Gotta love it when they are happy about getting a ticket!!! This was a great show. Thanks team.
Frank, you may have heard this one but if not, feel free to use it. Driver rolls through a stop sign and is pulled over by LEO. Drivers excuse is, “But I slowed down!” LEO begins knocking driver on head with Billy club and asks, “Do you want me to stop or slow down?”
I am not LEO, but I work with LEO regularly around the nation as a complex claim adjuster for a very large insurer. Explaining "reasonable and prudent" is a daily part of my job. It doesn't seem to register unfortunately. Additionally, the drastic difference between injury or no injury in most auto collisions is whether they were wearing or not wearing a seatbelt. Thanks for enforcing that one. Also, I don't know if there is any "occupant position" enforcement, but if not, there should be one that prohibits the front occupant from resting their feet or legs upon the dash console. The injuries resulting from collisions are usually catastrophic and in some cases fatal, while a driver may only sustain minor injury (if any).
I worked on a mental health hospital ward for a while and one of the consultant psychiatrists was saying they have noted a lowering of the onset of things such as dementia in cannabis users.
I love this one. What am I saying, I love all of the videos that you guys do. This one had a little bit of everything in it. Frank's wit (of course) a bit of laughter, stupidity from the driver, and more. My wife and I have been volunteering for the Round Rock, Texas police department for 10 years. Thanks for the entertaining videos, keeping ignorant drivers in check and keeping the road in Arizona safe. Y'all are awesome!
Ah yes, Round Rock police, a PD which has one of the worst possible police accountability ratings there is, tho they are excellent at lifting carpets and using brooms. They do score high in the killings department so they can be proud of that high score. They have more killings per arrest than 83% of all the PDs in the US. Congrats RRPD.

Frank, I feel like you have a amazing vocabulary. Here is something you can keep in your back pocket for the right occasion. A collision is when both objects are moving. An allision is when a moving object strikes a stationary object.
I stop my kids from using the "Well they're doing..." or "They were doing it too". I follow it up with "So? Does that make it right? and who is the only person you can control?" No buts, no mutts, no coconuts. I also tell them to stop doing things that make words I heard from my mom come out of my mouth. "You're making me sound like grandma...quit it!"

Water is natural. That doesn't mean that you cant drown in it.
yeah a lot of natural things are poisonous. so the natural rationale is dumb.
Let's not forget water has killed far more people than weed ever could.
And H2O sure is dangerous. 100% of all people who use it die.
CBD & Weed only is beneficial if it helps with a condition.
Otherwise its useless, he is right.
@jamesrowden303 9yr pot smoker here weed doesnt make you do dumb shit weed is the safest drug to ever exsist on God's green Earth
“He’s speeding too”
“Yeah but you got caught”
I love the way you dealt with the mom, addressing her greatest concern first. “ The boys are ok.”
Son was in the back seat with his GF, which is why the other kid was driving, but his attention was on what was happening in the back seat rather than actually driving.
“ I don’t smoke weed sir, my brain 🧠 got stuck in my zipper. “
🙄🙄
I liked "Don't kill him in front of me!"
Love your reviews of your old videos keep it going
A super interesting video would be a "where are they now" with some of these people.
Check out episode 107!
Let's just cut to the chase, we all want to know how Blue Mustang guy is doing. He's a fan favorite.
“Favorite”
I only want to know where they are if they're in jail now
Oddly, I often think of blue mustang dude
"here is my fish and now its released back into the wild"
I really liked that one haha
You know what I like about you best? You treat EVERYONE the same. Thank you.
Thanks for the video Frank! Always entertaining. 😊
The next shirt should be “I got stopped by Frank!”
They could wear it to court
@@kellismith4329Haha
I'm a former medic turned farmer, WHERE YOUR FREAKING SEATBELT!!
❤ What is the 1st thing everyone usually does on a roller coaster? YUP! Strap their butt IN! Seatbelts save lives! In roll overs, people fly like rag doll.
They call it Dope for a reason
Why?
dude you are the best guy. I can see why people love you.
Frank, I love your mountain of right regarding weed. You’re the man. And a wonderful example for all of us.
Love and appreciate how you handle both guys and especially mom.
Documenting warnings - great.
I watch you from Australia 🇦🇺 and I love your nature with people straight and direct. But respectful. Cops worldwide could learn by this
Franks sister is a pothead… that’s dope
Booo
So, a Sloup dope?
doesn't everyone have a pothead sister?
Thank you for all you do.
Nice! Bring the science to roadside interactions. I like it! 👏
It. Blows. My.
And cops appreciate not having to check bodies lying all over the highways.
Let's presume that other guy is going fast, scooter. I can't write him a ticket, because I'm busy writing yours.
Great use of levity to de-escalate the situation all over. Perfectly well done
Love your handlings of irresponsible drivers. I get a laugh every time I watch your videos.
Heard from an Officer, and love it:
Officer: Caught you going 65 in a 55
Me: Everyone else was going 65! Why me?
Officer: You ever been fishing, son?
Me: Yes sir.
Officer: Did you catch all the fish?
When you're stopped, every car is "speeding".
Frank!!!! Love watching you!
you're right, 30+years never touched weed since I was 25. it makes your thinking fuzzy, and you can't shave with Occam's razor when its dull
I really enjoy watching your videos, thank you for what you do Frank.
this has become one of my favorite episodes. I hope both boys get grounded for a while. Mine would have.
About 1:36: Kudos Sam! Stunning arc of skid marks...
Hey Deputy Frank I’m a firm believer in seatbelts because of an accident I had years ago
When you were saying that things happen the day of my accident I (yes wasn’t wearing one) was in a head on with another car, we impacted so hard that my seat unlocked and slid forward and I ended up flying through the windshield I cut my face open, broke my right knee, and cut open my left knee (both knees were cut by the edge of the dash just under the steering wheel)
Anyway after years of paying out of pocket a very large hospital bill and several doctors bills for plastic surgery to my face and knee surgeries I learned a valuable lesson to click it and insisting everyone in my car to do the same (or we don’t go anywhere)
To this very day I have gotten into a car without my seatbelts
Some years ago I was hit by a learner, who was accompanied, but not by a licence holder. This meant that the driver was not insured. The vehicle belonged to the mother of the driver, and she had insurance. I reported the accident to my insurer, who also happened to be the with the same company. The insurance company took care of my repairs, but the vehicle owner was left to fend for herself due to allowing a learner drive the vehicle without suitable supervision.
Excellent! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Doing important work here. And serving it up in a palatable way.
One of my favorite episodes, and yes, Deputy Frank, you should be rewarded for saving that kid from his mom. 😂😂😂
About 13:52: Good response is "Yeah, I'd have pulled them but you wanted my attention first."
Watching from New Hampshire. The “live free or die” state. It isn't a requirement to buckle up in New Hampshire if you are over the age of 18.
NH is the only state that doesn’t require an adult to wear a seatbelt. Thought that was interesting. Buckle up buttercup!
That’s crazy
We need a day in the life of Mr. Slouo
I love the "student driver" sticker on the back.
I’m highly impressed with your cannabis knowledge and I too am on the job!!
Great episode. I remember my dad being so happy when they started putting seatbelts in cars. He was in the air force so he knew the importance of having them and using them.
Thanks Frank
I wouldn’t be here today if I wasn’t wearing my seatbelt when I rolled my car three and one half times.
Circa 1:38: "When is the last time you smoked any weed?" "I've never smoked." "Good idea: That stuff makes you stupid." Good rejoinder, except in his case, you should have said, "Good idea: That stuff makes you *even stupider*!"
10:30 In my state, if the truck has oversized tires you must also have fender flares as well as the flaps.
Great video Frank as usual!
I will say, Frank’s videos are not only educational for traffic violations, but also vocabulary!! I’m learning new words like innocuous. haha! Thanks Frank!!
Exactly right Frank, like I tell my kids. There’s a reason it’s called Dope. Makes you stupid and keeps you stupid. Why put a thief in your brain?
Frank is a classic!
Marijuana is not a bright idea. My brother started smoking it at the age of 12, and it spiraled out of control in ways that you can’t imagine. He’s 64 years old now, and we never thought he’d make it that long. 😳
I’m betting he didn’t just use marijuana if it spiraled out of control. I’m betting alcohol was involved.
Loved the fishing analogy!
I always enjoy every video that you put out !!!
😂😂😂😂
Congrats RRPD.
you can tell frank really went out of his way to do his home work and ask questions to his sister who has no problem communicating it in a way frank would understand
he understand it and doesn’t have a problem with weed unless he’s clocked in and someone’s operating heavy machinery
Frank, your intelligence, gift for diffusing a situation (while conveying seriousness), plus personality makes FWF a WIN! I've tried to watch vids from another state, and they are dry! It's apparent you love your job.
Thanks to you, Sam, & your higher-ups.
I think Saturdays with Schmidlin would also be a boon to Pinal County's PR.
Absolutely agree 100% with you
Frank you are just awesome keep up the great work Stay safe out there and God Bless
2024 and people STILL don't wear their seatbelt!?!
🚓✌️😎👍🚔THX SAM & FRANK❗🚗☁️ 🚓☁️✨
I don’t need a law to get me to wear a seatbelt because I have common sense. That’s motivation enough.
