wonderful video Anthony. In 17 minutes you showed a great work flow that is so easy a total beginner to On1 would learn a lot. I hope a lot of people buy the class.

Thanks for the intro Anthony. I am an ON1 Plus member so received the additional discount on the Masking Photo Kit (course) - a quick overview shows the course to be a great value. I don't have to open one video to know the quality of the instruction will be top notch - always appreciative of Anthony's excellent presentations and teachings. Particularly useful for me is that the videos are downloadable - I take care of my elderly mother and there is no wifi at her home. Free time I can tackle ON1 2024 masking. Looking forward to the course. The PDF notes for each video will be good reinforcement and reference as I work thru the course.

With regard to the masking course can you download the videos? My web connection buffers a lot so not good at watching videos seamlessly on line
The ON1 site only mentions the practice files as far as I can see.

Does your course include manipulating masks in a way similar to intersectional masking in LR?

I just received an email from ON1 inviting me to download a set of brush presets for clouds (which I did). How do you use them in a work flow where you want to add some clouds to an image? all of the help videos for preset brushes refer to the old version (pre-2024) of ON1. With the re-design in 2024 those videos don't work.

I like On1, but it needs to get with all other editing software and put the red overlay where the mask is being applied. As you it’s confusing for those of us who use more than one software package. The only clue is the small box showing white reveals. No idea why On1 stubbornly sticks to this oddity.

Once you have an image open in Edit, go to the Mask menu and choose View Mode > Red Overlay

Thanks for taking the time to reply. But there does seem to be some inconsistency in the way the red overlay is used. If you look at Anthony Morganti’s video number 10, it’s clear that the red overlay is placed on the region which is not being treated with an adjustment. Yet if you use Mask AI, the red overlay is placed over the region which is being adjusteded and, with a click of the mouse, the red overlay turns blue and the adjustment made to that area.

@@edwardkillesteyn1479 Super Select does show this way, we will forward this to Dan and he might consider changing this to be more consistent. We do appreciate your feedback!
