- I have a beach house!!!! JK... My family and I went on a little socially distanced vacation to enjoy a few days of sun and sand. You’re a good mama, I made my son stay. I didn’t fly to my vacation to sit in a house and son you gon do the same! 🤣😝 He learned to love the beach. We moved there and he went everyday. He’s 30 now, and still tells ppl I threw him in the pool at 6 weeks. He learned to swim at 2. Dog paddle. At 5 he was swimming very well. Still can’t keep him out the water. Props to you! Keep exposing her to everything. We’ve only been on 1 vacation without him. I love that he’s exposed to so many places and cultures, and food. He’s well rounded. Ziya will be as well. I love that she went to Colorado and glamping. You’re doing a great job, mama.
I'm the only child, youngest grand, and grew raised by a single mom. Ziya reminds me of my younger self so much! I love it, she knows what she wants and knows how to say it. It is a blessing, especially as you get older. God bless you both!

The vacation home is very nice, with the pool and the beach, you are more than good to go! The color schemes are relaxing and I like the decor, but it’s safe to say they OD!
I just love how your mother is with Ziya; she is a very loving, nurturing, and patient grandmother! Ziya seems to have your sister and father temperaments very laidback, observant, honest, and self-assured (she isn’t going to put on a show, be fake, our manipulate to get a toy or treat)! I think it is a blessing that she is being exposed to new things. She does well with independent play and each child’s individuality is to be fostered and celebrated🙂

Don't be shocked by Ziya's first response to the beach. I haven't met any kid who liked it the first time they saw it. My son loved playing in the water and swimming in a pool but the first time he saw the ocean he screamed and said the water was trying to eat him.
Both my kids loveddddd the beach their first time (well I guess first time they could remember). Early exposure is key. They s been going to the beach since they were infants.

Every year (except this year :( ) my moms college roommate rents a beach house for a week or so, and people (other college roommates and their families) basically come in and go out. It’s usually kinda near my grandparents house so we drive there to the house, it’s always a lot of fun and I love the beach. Sorry, your vacation reminded me a lot of it.
