I love how many unique strategies are possible for dealing with these guys. For instance, I'd use the Frozen Keyblade's blizzard attack properties to get him out of berserk really fast and the skate dodge's extended s to curve around the DM. I never would have thought of dodging with Double Form to damage him out of it. Such great bosses.
@@syrelian Yeah, because it has the ice element attached to each hit. Same thing with the Ratatouille keyblade and fire. One hit from its transformation removes Marluxia's armor like Firaga does.
I always just liked taking advantage of stitch's ability to zip and dissappear for a couple of seconds, while doing some surprising damage to the beserk gauge. One of the few times I found it actually useful. Combined with dual form's dodges, and the arendelle's keyblade transformation and shotlocks, my second battle with him was far more comfortable

hello So I played data-saix in proud mode, with ultima weapon. My Sora is level 90, but I can't beat the hell outta him in berserk mode the way Sham-sensei did. I did some research on why I can't, and it turns out one of Ultimate Forms' attack had Sora teleporting for a few frames, then attacks data-saix. This gave data-saix enough time to aerial recovery out of Sora's combo and continue his berserk combo. I just can't fathom this BS.
This guy was so stupid hard. Took me 3 hours but it was an amazing fight. Dunno what people mean by his 2nd DM being hard though. From my experience, even when he is nearly dead, he only gains 1 new attack and an addition to one of his other moves (he'll charge at you 7 times instead of 4, I think). I hope I didn't miss anything cool lol Getting past DMs w/o taking damage is one of the best feelings ever.
In Critical, there’s an ability called Cure Converter where the situation command gauge fills up faster while the MP bar is recharging. To put it simply, he is using up the MP bar in order to access his Formchanges more quickly than usual.
@@ch00mb00m Thats Critical Recharge, Cure Converter is an Ability on some Accessories that gives you 1 arrow of Situation Gauge per copy of the Ability when you use Cure, both together can get you your first Formchange really quick
How on earth does your situation command gauge fill up so fast? I'm twice your level with three cure converters equipped and even then it takes me 2-3 combos to get Dark Form rolling.
Is there an ability in critical mode that protects you against the stun status effect? Or do you have armor equipped with said ability? The stun from the homing spinning attack is hell to deal with.
Noob here: why do you run toward the screen while he does the special attack? Any tactic in particular? I'm studying your videos before buying the dlc ;)
