Yes, there are free sports channels within the Google TV Channels. There is MLB, NHL, NFL. They wont' be the live channels like NFL Network or MLB Network being those are premium pay channels, but there are sports channels. 71 at the time of this reply.

I haven't got on my android tv yet I hope they update the android tv home and I'll get the live TV google tv

It's interesting to learn you haven't received the update for the free channels by now. If you are located in the U.S. it should have arrived long ago. Do you have the Google branded device or the Walmart ONN Google TV device? Even if you have a Google TV built in it like on a TCL or Sony TV it should have arrived.
