Ryuusei no Rockman Wave Scanner Demonstration

- There's a few Wave Scanner demos on UA-cam, but they don't show the connection it can make with the DS game. So here it is, with working Card scanning. Special thanks to Nigoli and KRX50 for infos since I can't read Japanese.
The Wave Scanner is different from the Chip Gates, rather than just send the Battle Card data. Certain scanned cards instead boost or change the effect of a Card.
You can also play with the Scanner and transfer your Level Data to your DS game to further boost your Rockman's strength. If you've tried the Wave Command Codes from Star Force 2, it's a precursor of that.
Well made sowcase, kudos for that.
I'm extremly impressed, that they even planned for a "no gba slot" ds version, meaning this works with any 3\ds.
The Japanese had invented how to extract more cash from us before the days of DLC and amiibos.
At least it has more fun playstyle and add colective value than dlc.

Really wish this stuff wasn't cut out of the US version.
I was tempted to get one of these for a while, but because it was cut, I opted out.
ShinSHOGO Now would be a good time if you're willing to put in the time. Everything RnR1 is cheap on Amazon because of years old overstock.

Whatever battle card you scan on the wave scanner, it will start to charge up your current battle cards you see on the bottom screen and on the top left corner you’ll see a P symbol that Mark said your card is now powered up

Still wished they made a Hunter-VG toy, it would have made really great features like a tamagochi but with Wizards and have separate Wizard adaptors that you can insert into the Hunter.
I'm still trying to figure out to set it up to where I can scan the cards. But I don't understand Japanese. I've tried to follow this video. But I'm still having trouble. Please help!

what does the card at 4:50 do? and would you ever make a video showcasing the lunar knights brotherband chips? looking for footage of them is downright impossible
I believe the megaman Pegasus DX mod adds them in along with the star cards and other cool features.
4 years late, but that's a standard class card that puts a trap on the field which springs into action when the opponent uses a mega class card, and reverses the target, meaning he hurts himself. It's only useful in PVP
@@TheRealBlazingDiamond yeah, basically anti navi from bn but instead of auto proccing, they have to be standing on the panel.
it kinda sucks that all the cool stuff was cut out from the american version, i really need to learn Japanese so i can play the Japanese version of these games
Localization is a plague. I hope you've been studying your moonrunes since this comment, god knows that every cent kept from localizers counts.
every version had stuff cut out, sadly. NA versions got cucked really hard, especially in starforce 3

Sorry, it can't because it doesn't have the port required. Only DSi and lower.

Infinity 95 Go to the options I go to, up to the screen that says DS and let it standby. Other than that I have nothing to say that can help out.
Could you please make a tutorial video? I don't understand Japanese. A tutorial would help everyone who had trouble doing it.
Infinity 95 UA-camr KRX50 has a Wave Scanner review that goes over each function. If I remembered right, that's where I gathered all my info.

MidniteWv4 MidniteWv4 I was able find the options menu and I pressed the button to let it standby. But when I tried using my cards it wouldn't work. You did something at 1:11. Can you tell me what that was? Does that help make it work?

+BraveTy ZetaRock10 No, it lacks the required port (which is next to the headphone connector in the supported DSi/DS Lite/DS).
I was thinking that accessory only works with the DS and the DS Lite systems.
Cool gimmick but wait too clunky and add on
