- WhiskyJason review of Highland Park Wings of the Eagle aged 16 years Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The 16 year old Wings of the Eagle is part of the Highland Park four-part Travel Edition collection. This Single Malt matured in Sherry casks from European and American oak.
I have the 18 YO at home on my shelf which is absolutly fantastic, and one i really would like to get my hands on is Highland Park 14 Loyalty Of The Wolf, picked it up once a couple of years ago on the ferrie from denmark to sweden on my way back home, tried it out one night and immediatly fell in love with it, but now i cant find it easy 😢

Sounded fantastic. Love European oak notes and generally appreciate HP. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great vertical testing, I was going to buy 16yo but instead I purchased 17yo full volume, other then that I tested 12yo, 18yo, twisted tattoo, and few IB bottles and if I will looking for next bottle I choice another IB unfortunately, I like more single casks from highland park
thanks Kopi
Wonderful comparison Jason.
I like your reaction to the 18. Happens to me every time..!!!
A good comparison to the Wings of the Eagle would have been the Twisted Tattoo..?!?!
didn't have a bottle open at the time
Fantastic video!
Thank you very much!
I got the 16yo 2 years ago which i haven't opened yet for 55-60 euro at the duty free it was on aale for 40% off

Jason,
I have stopped the video at 7:10 ua-cam.com/video/xEzRU5ec1RI/v-deo.html, and it looks like you swapped the 12 and the Bear...Sorry my OCD kicking in - thought I would share my anxiety with you.
I love your channel keep up the great work.
