I really enjoyed living there! I would have stayed, but it was too far of a drive from my job & the school we ended up enrolling our kids in. I hope you have a great experience!
@Meditation Time With Moni Yes we did end up getting a house here! It's nice! We like it just fine as our temporary home. It is just a little smaller than our last house at appx 1900 Sq ft. But it's definitely not too small. We ended up with a house that had carpet which wasn't our preference but it's not bad. I like that isn't too far from work. And the kids all have their own rooms. Nice, safe neighborhood. Utilities and trash are included. Yeah, I think we're happy here for the time being. Glad we didn't buy again right now.
Hey girl using my weekend to catch up on your vids. This house is really nice we finally qualify for a 4 bedroom I'm so excited to get settled at bliss we g.j or our orders last week! The storage area is great! Fully equipped with kids🤣
At Home With Troy oooh how exciting!! Having 4 bedrooms is really nice - we thought about giving the kids their own room instead of having them share, but they’re still young, and having the playroom for them keeps their bedroom and our living room clean 🤣 I can’t wait to see your new place!
Rileys Reality TV thanks, girl! We definitely love the new living situation. Our house in Hawaii is less than 1100 square feet, and this is 2000, so the kids are having a blast running up and down the stairs and the hallways 😂
Hey ! I came across your video a long time ago and I’m rewatching it turns out my husband will be stationed in fort Bragg. Your house is beautiful. I had a question was the wait for housing long ?
Asiamarnae thank you! No, we didn’t have to wait long at all. We were actually in the process of buying a home, but the only home we liked at the time had a horrible home inspection report, so at the very last minute my husband contacted Corvias, and we were placed in our home in 3 weeks, I think.
Asiamarnae there should be something available for you! It is a really nice house! It’s a bit too big for my liking (I know that might sound weird haha), but it’s got great storage, really sensible layout, and at least in our neighborhood it’s quiet and safe.
Hi! Do you know where I’m able to find listing for the homes on Fort Bragg? These are one of the places we might be stationed at. (Fort Sill & Fort Campbell are the others) My husband is still in AIT:)
Lady Bianca thank you! We really like it! No issues so far 🙌🏽 The kids love having all this space to run around - especially since the weather is so cold and we can’t be outside for long periods of time.
Hi! I’m moving to Ft Bragg in May with my husband, two kids and dog. It would be lovely to get a house like this. Someone told me that it depends on which neighborhood we qualify for. I don’t know what she meant by that so I was wondering if you know something about it. Thank you 🙏🏼
Hey Paola! I think qualifying for a specific neighborhood means what rank the active duty member is -- there is junior enlisted housing, senior enlisted housing, field grade officer housing, and company grade officer housing. So like I mentioned in the video we were at the senior enlisted housing. We were supposed to be in the field grade officer housing, but I guess last minute that house got snatched up (who knows -- not a big deal), so Corvias offered us a home for senior enlisted soldiers (same floor plan, same amenities AKA a microwave haha). Let me know if you have any other questions! I no longer live at Linden Oaks, but I'd love to help in any way I can. Welcome to Ft. Bragg!
@@paolasantiago1482 yayyy!! So exciting! You can start planning what goes where now 😊 You also have a little patch of dirt in the front of the house that you can grow flowers/veggies, etc. It’s not big, but it’s definitely enough! ❤️
I have seen quite a few complaints on the Linden Oaks Facebook page. I personally never had any issues with the unit we lived in. I know a lot of people abuse the “free” utilities, which, I believe over time, combined with potential sub-par building, is a recipe for the constant need of repairs and/or replacements - especially on appliances. I’ve been to a few people’s houses on post, and it’s really sad to see how some people take care of a home (broken window blinds, handles missing off of major appliances, stains all over the carpets, etc.).
@@anthonylagunas6737 repairs are so expensive with Corvias! 😂 It’s cheaper to take care of your house lol. Are you looking into moving to Linden Oaks? I really enjoyed my neighbors and the safety for my kids.
@@JessicaHolmes I am retired Army, before u retired u bought and remodeled some home to rent. I only rented to military at a price they could afford for their rank. But when they started tearing them up, causing major damage I sold them.
@@loveMovementJ lol yes Im sure they use the most “affordable” option. I’ve seen other people’s houses, and it’s a shame how they trash the carpets, blinds, etc. It’s terrible. So I understand why they choose the materials they do. That’s not everyone, but… I’m sure it happens more often than not.
@@JessicaHolmes that makes since I mean I’m on my second house with Corvias and I’m bored of seeing the same colored rug and interior so I was hoping linden oaks was nicer which it is. And I saw other homes have wooden floor. But yeah why invest on high-end interior if soldiers are always moving. Over here in fort Johnson they provide a fence actually for the backyard don’t gotta pay
@@loveMovementJ oh that’s nice they provide a fence! We had a fence at fort Gordon. I think it’s ridiculous to have to pay for a fence (not even a nice one at that) at linden oaks. We never had one installed, but we had trees & bushes right behind us, and in back of that was another row of houses, as well.

Thanks so much for creating this video! My wife and I wanted to see exactly what Linden Oaks housing looked like before we commit to living there!

Love the home Jess! It’s huge. It definitely is a mainland house with so much space. One thing I miss about living in the mainland.
It is SO big! Of course it could be bigger, but honestly I don't want anything bigger than this. I like my 1100 square foot house back home haha.

When you say senior rank what ranks would that be? A range please and thank you.
@@alexruth7558 for Army it’s usually E5 and up, W3 and up, or O3 and up

These homes were built by a private contractor, and owned by them. Sone are having problems with poor workmanship.
